Shirley has denied it’s Josh saying she doesn’t know who he is and not to believe everything you read…
Josh was on GMB this morning and refused to confirm or deny the rumours when they asked him 3 times.
However Richard osmans podcast said that by the time we hear it (Tuesday morning) we should already know who the hosts are- and that Richard and Marina are very happy with them.
however still no official announcement! Very odd. It’s like they booked Josh with the purpose of announcing it this morning and then somethings happened and they’ve had to stall the announcement and tell him to deflect the questions

BBC just as organised as ever. Turning a good news story into a get on with it why don't you. They have had half a year to get it right. Maybe some of those they interviewed aren't happy with taking what might be perceived as the lesser Claudia role. The higher profile overall is probably the Tess or main presenter role. Hence maybe Emma and Joss Widdecombe option.
No matter who it is, we won't all be happy but they need to just get on with it now, imo.I'm filled with both dread and excitementbut at least the speculation will end. I hope they give some info on potential format changes too.

I read that because of the MAFs news this morning they would likely delay the strictly announcement as that’s the BBC top reality news today and they won’t want to be seen to cover it over either due to the nature of it. Defo makes sense after listening to Richard saying by the time you hear this you’ll know and Josh being booked on GMB (although personally not my cup of tea). Also Josh’s podcast title today has the word ‘strictly’ in it ?

Exactly, the judges are stale. Production have elevated them to be the 'stars' of the show, which they certainly are not. Since they have made them such a big part of the show, it would have been refreshing to have different people in the industry having a chance to critique the dances. We just know they will come up with the same old comments and barbed criticism.
Of course it was to be announced today, with Shirley and Josh on GMB, probably Shirley was going to announce it then Josh would appear. Was Josh on there to plug anything or was it a random interview?
With 5 new dancers it seems to be too much too soon, to change so much.
I would bring back Nadiya to dance and do a bit of singing, if we could have got rid of three of the judges.
