The Johannes article headlines I have seen make it seem like he has a role but not replacing Tess and Claudia but maybe I am wrong as I couldn't be arsed reading them lol.

I feel that Josh’s name was never ever originally mentioned in the potential presenters and suddenly he’s mentioned? As long as it’s Emma Willis I’m staying hopeful it’s someone else just as good.
Didn’t want Rylan or Alison for this either - as much as I like them not for this. Also the Johannes story sounds like it’s just been pulled out of someone’s a? So random - I love him but not for a presenting gig. Gutted Zoe didn’t get it.
Tom Allen could be a possibility - him and Emma have worked together previously and have good chemistry.
They need to seriously just announce it already - put us all out of our misery with all the speculation.

He had popped in to my head too. It sounds like a lot of people auditioned so he might be in the mix.
He does Celebs go dating as the office manager, a role he was made for, he’s fabulous.
I’m actually amazed that Rylan is out of the mix. He’ll be really fed up having also thought he had Big Brother in the bag enough to leave ITT.
If Rylan and Zoe are out, maybe it's a case of the BBC thinking, you walked away from the show before so there's no coming back.
I hope not. I know no matter who it is though - some will be happy, and some won't.

I think Zoe blotted her copybook jacking in her Saturday radio show after such a short period of time. Would you want to give someone such a high profile role with all the associated publicity and hoo ha with the risk that they could hand their notice in after one series?

Agree with this. They moved Mark Goodier for her and made such a fuss of her show for nothing.

Tom Read Wilson is fab. Would love it to be him.
I doubt they would invite them to audition if that was the case, why waste everyone's time if they would've been written off anyway for that reason.
I feel it's probably more of a case of the producers wanting some new faces for the 'rebrand', but still had some familiar ones in the mix just in case everyone else bombed at the auditions and they were the only workable options.
Then again we now have Johannes in the rumour mill, which makes no sense to me, so hoping it's just the media getting their clicks while the iron is hot as they don't seem to know (yet) who the second host is gonna be. I love Johannes, but he has no experience and I just can't imagine him working in that role ... also why would they announce him as a pro if he was in the running for the host spot, they would've just delayed the pro announcement after the hosts one when it would've been clear which role he'd have.
