Hopefully they will stop at Su.
Sure JanOh God, they actually approached Alison Hammond about the presenter role apparently. Thankfully she can't do it.

Alison Hammond reveals she turned down Strictly Come Dancing hosting role
Hammond was one of several names mooted to take over from Claudia Winkleman and Tess Dalywww.independent.co.uk
I don't mind Alison in small doses and think she can do light hearted fun stuff well, Bake Off works relatively well for her. But not sure about the whole live Strictly circus would be good for her. Her laughing over everything would be too much.
9 holes in tough conditionsIt’s actually his hair texture- he’s been trying to disguise his curly hair for years.

Feel like I'm in the minority that doesn't get this outrage about a few pros being let go, still not sure what the BBC are supposed to have done wrong exactly.
Anyone think the BBC prompted Jowita to talk about her Strictly story to make them look like the good guys by offering her a job after The Greatest Dancer. I feel like Jowita doesn’t really talk about tgd and the questions from JB and Angelica pretty much made her talk about it!
No i agree with you that cuts are needed and do think the pros needed an overhaul, however i do think they resold that story to soften the wider outlook who seem to resist changeFeel like I'm in the minority that doesn't get this outrage about a few pros being let go, still not sure what the BBC are supposed to have done wrong exactly. They're all on one-year contracts and know they're not guaranteed one the next year, the producers have decided the female lineup finally needs some spruce up and have gone for it this year.
In my 8 years of watching the show only Janette and Oti have left on that side and they even kept Janette as a presenter for ITT and the tour. Meanwhile on the male side there's been way more movement in the same period with Pasha, Kevin, Anton, AJ leaving + Cameron, Gio and Graz being axed. When you also take into consideration that they had two extra female pros in the last couple of years, it makes complete sense why it was mostly female dancers leaving, since I saw people complain why there isn't a mass cull on the male side too, it's just less needed there.
Then some people complained they let them go by a 30-minute Zoom call ... which seems fairly standart to me, when you take into consideration that they're doing this for all the pros regardless if they get a new contract or being let go. Some of them are not in the UK, others are touring, makes sense to me to do it that way, so they can inform everyone of their faith in a similar timeframe. You'd think they axed them over a text or something given the complains![]()

If they do want to do that with Neil I will be ok with it.No, I am not one bit outraged.
I think it's being overhyped by the media. You'd swear they were being brought around the back of the building one fine day, and never seen again.
[Cue spooky music]
They just wanted a feelgood story - there's only so much mileage you can get out of 'how much are you looking forward to the tour?' and 'tell us about Neil's pranks'.No i agree with you that cuts are needed and do think the pros needed an overhaul, however i do think they resold that story to soften the wider outlook who seem to resist change
I am going to have to see this! They just wanted a feelgood story - there's only so much mileage you can get out of 'how much are you looking forward to the tour?' and 'tell us about Neil's pranks'.
I'm a bit gooped that Carlos hasn't done more vocal training before doing his own cabaret night. His voice is pleasant but slight and the clips from insta are underwhelming as well as what looks like a slightly awkward charleston with Janette.
I saw a clip of him singing I will Survive and it was awfulI am going to have to see this!![]()
I didn't mind who won last time. I really liked the partnership between George and Alexis. Carlos was never on my favourites list but OMG, the crying last year nearly tipped me over the edge. And he and Karen announced that they cried their way through some dance towards the end - the ick [shudder]I'm happy for Carlos that he can be his authentic self and all that, and I overlooked his cringiness last series because I wanted Karen to win, but the cringe is getting too much now![]()
If he had an earlier exit last year ... yep, I think he would've been up for the chop, not sure if they would've axed a finalist though in a scenario where they didn't end up winning. Probably would've been in danger soon enough anyway though, but as a past champ now I think he's saved himself for a long time.I didn't mind who won last time. I think if he hadn't won, he would be getting the boot, tbh.
