I think Nikita has a bit more cross-generational appeal than some of the others so probably has reasonable sales.

Regarding the pros, didn’t Nancy say on ITT that she knew what week, what dance etc, but she hadn’t told Shayne? Swear one the pros said this. I think the pros if they wish to can have a fair bit of say over the production for their celeb. Sarah has said Vito sketches their costumes.

I've got to put my head above the parapet to say I didn't enjoy Ashley's dances at all, I especially hated her Taylor Swift Tango and that Jive that looked like a frantic mess.
BUT, I will concede that maybe I don't know what a "proper" Jive should look like because I also thought Karim's 40 Jive was a load of manic tit.

That's my man! Most of his shows are before I'm kidnaping him and making him develop Stockholm syndrome and falling in love with me. So most people can see him first.
Must be quite difficult when the story is about your dance partner's toddler.
I wasn't particularly an Ashley fan. I'm old and can't remember but was she a dance off asassin? Did the public like her?

The pros do normally choreograph on a Sunday. Of course they will already have a solid idea of routine and what syllabus steps they're going to put in, but they would finesse it on a Sunday when they know they're through, know more of their partner's capabilities and know if they want to throw in any tweaks (like Jamie and Michelle referencing their Paso in the mental ketchup Jive). It would be insane to pre-set 14 choreographies in stone in August, when you don't know if you need them all, or whether your partner can do less/more than you hoped. But equally insane to give four days to think of a song, routine and then teach it. I'm not surprised or disappointed that a lot is done ahead, anything else is unrealistic. But I heard (and believed) a pro say that for them Sundays are out: so if you get to a final, you're basically working every day for three months. A pro who takes it seriously does that, at least (no shade, Karen).
They did not, she has three consecutive dance offs after Blackpool. She was too American, good and confident (this pissed me off, Faye was equally good, equally a ringer, and I loved her just as much, but Faye got hardly any heat! In a way I was glad Ashley took it from her, but I was annoyed that Ashley had to take it).

For a very long time Strictly wouldn't have anyone from that sort of background on the show. They were a bit snobby like that but I think once they realised that people like Joe Sugg have millions of followers and attract younger audiences then they had to get with it really. These are the new celebrities.

Definitely pays better and it's 3 weeks of mainly sitting around and luxury holiday at the end of it.
Tbf given the choice between eating a cows hole and being patronised by Shitley I know what I’d choose.

I’m sad Jamie is out but, after a truly terrible Monday that ended with me being locked out, I will take an ITT line-up that involves Jamie, Michelle, Pete and Jowita being interviewed by Fleur. I just wish it was under better circumstances.
