Surely that would be very shortsighted of the beeb given that it's one of their flagship Saturday night shows ? I agree about the budget cuts, I posted my thoughts about production standards dropping in an earlier thread.

I don't think it will be anything major, because like you say it's their biggest show, just perhaps if say Tess decides to leave at some point, they will get someone significantly cheaper

I have a friend who is quite well-connected in the world of ‘proper’ AT. Apparently, the AT community is generally pretty unimpressed with what passes for AT on Strictly. It’s like a ‘cartoon’ version: overly aggressive, rammed with exaggerated lifts and silly leg business, etc.

But then again, most of the dances on Strictly are now ‘cartoon’ versions of the original form.

Just imagine if J & J manage something like this

We went to dance lessons for a while and the teachers were also critical of Strictly - they said that it was such a bad representation of dancing and so many people were only taking it up after watching it, only to be disappointed that they don’t come out like the contestants

I thought her stomach looked a little rounded when she was on ITT the other day. Would she be allowed to take part if she was pregnant though? Maybe just a few extra lockdown pounds. Her boobs do seem extra humongous though
