Steve moaning about Chloe's behavior this week - maybe it's because she's been stuck in the house for almost 2 weeks! She's had one trip to a park because Sophie took her. She's 6 years old, probably full of energy and nothing to do with it all. Taking her out in the day would also possibly help with her sleep. I don't know how Steve and Rache are so stupid not to see this. Apparently Rache went upstairs because of Chloe's behaviour. They always sulk off upstairs rather than deal with it. It's so odd.

Steve and Rache need to stop being so damn lazy. Especially Steve. He could be taking Lacey out during the day and Chloe whilst she's off, and could even walk the dogs! Rache is within walking distance to work so will manage just fine without lifts.

They actually went out yesterday. Steve spent the whole vlog from start to finish moaning about literally everything and anything he could and of course 'Lacey was definitely nervous'... she's flipping nervous because you put it in her head that she needs to be!!! Honestly it's angered me so much! Why can't he just enjoy the time, out of his house with his family and stop putting his own anxieties on to his children? I just do not understand it. I have anxiety but i still enjoy my life and don't make other people want to feel anxious because I am ESPECIALLY not my children... Those poor kids...

Chloe was a benefit baby. They had her so they could get the council to move them from that 3 bed dump they were in previously into a 4 bed house. Chloe was then left in a corner to be raised by an iPad and as soon as school was on the agenda they tried to have her certified as special needs due to her speech. When that didn't work and Chloes speech suddenly improved dramatically once she went to school and actually interacted with other human beings - they turned the spotlight on Lacey as their meal ticket.

I just wanna know why so many people with (we can assume) learning difficulties find Steve's life so so fascinating. I used to enjoy how mundane and normal things were in contrast to the flashy, beggy family vloggers but I don't watch much anymore because the home schooling situation and no rules for Chloe infuriates me way too much.
I haven't got learning difficulties but Steve is one of only three vloggers I've stuck with- I think it's because it is REAL - none of it's done for show or to sell stuff or even to sell a particular view of a (false) life. And I do find him quite natural with the camera and even quite funny at times. HOWever, I AM feeling more and more anxious about the laissez-faire attitude towards Chloe - 'she's so tired, no idea how she keeps going,' etc but the fact is she NEEDS that blooming ipad taken away for a month to break the habit, and she needs a proper bedtime routine in the early evening with a bedtime story and a firm 'it's time to sleep now - no, no more snacks, and definitely no screens'. Yes I know he reads here and will say 'but you don't know us' sort of thing but anyone can see that little girl needs firmer parenting - none of which means they aren't a nice family, because they are, and I do love the kids, especially Liam.

I find Rachel so weird. If I was her I’d be telling Steve to get a job. Must be so annoying working a split shift all the time. I’d constantly be clock watching. She doesn’t seem to have any friends and not close to her family

Have they decided at the tender age of 12 that Lacey isn’t capable of having a life outside of the house? She is regressing more and more each day she misses school. It’s getting to the point where she won’t even be prepared enough to sit foundation level GCSEs. Liam will be doing all sorts of lessons while Lacey is still on basic times tables. Yes there are successful people in the world without an exam grade to their name but those people weren’t basically held prisoner in their own home because their parents couldn’t be arsed to travel to a suitable school so their child could have an education. They let her anxiety fester everyday to the point where she won’t want to get a job ever. It’s a joke how they don’t see how much more harm than good they’re doing. I am making an assumption here but I’m guessing Lacey’s anxieties to do with school were mostly based on the school not understanding how her brain works and making her do things massively out of her comfort zone. Staff in a specialist school would be a lot more qualified and understanding of how SEN brains function.

Omg his constant moaning! How does Rache put up with him! Almost every single thing was compared to how it used to be when the where last there in 2019, don't know how many times mentioned where the entrance and exit used to be. Maybe he's "not feeling it this year" because it's still November.

Don't know what he was expecting, it's a garden center, not Lapland!

Busy timetable at Steves Home School for Lacey this week.

Lots of sitting in a car waiting for someone, followed by some wandering around supermarkets with a little bit of reading (which mainly involves having a book open whilst playing minecraft on a laptop) two sheets of basic maths and english and not forgetting the weekly draw a picture of a cat or butterfly.

10/10. Well done. Have 5 cans of coke as a reward.Throughly much appreciated. Same again next week. EPIC.

I love Lacey telling Steve to shut up about his toilet trips. Never heard someone go on about a stomach ache as much as in that vlog 😭 😭 😭

Omg I'm screaming he was still going on about his stomach at the end of the vlog and said 'I know how you girls feel'... IS HE COMPARING HIS DODGY STOMACH TO PREGNANCY/PERIOD PAINS?? 😭 😭 😭 😭 Rache carried twins!!! How does she put up with such a man-child?

He was visibly panicking about Chloe's IPAD when he knew it was not a quick and cheap job to fix. I wouldn't be in a rush to fix or replace it- in fact she needs weaning off it. Play some games with her Steve or god forbid now lighter nights are coming, take her to the park or let her have a friend round to play after school. And while we're at it stop calling her 'titty bum' all the time, notice the other kids are doing it now too. How totally embarassing for the poor kid when she is old enough to realise.

Sophie seems to be off school far too often. She is in her final year! Don't they realise how crucial this year is! I don't understand the lack of enthusiasm towards their children's education. Lacey would do really well in a main stream school if they gave her a chance. I don't believe her autism is as detrimental to her education as they make out. Many successful people have autism and schools are well equipped in dealing with autism

Thing is Lacey isn't a complete moron. She is intelligent enough to realise she's got an easy ride compared to her siblings. It's not like she's ever going to ask for more complex or challenging work or demand vocational skills beyond how a hoover works. And her useless parents aren't going to change the script anytime soon so she will drift along doing B&M workbooks for two hours a day until she is 16. No exams..no pressure..no worries. A female Steve is being moulded before our eyes.

And then reality will hit the poor girl very hard. Adult Lacey will be a mess.

Did he really just have a go at teachers striking for 1 day saying that it's causing kids to miss out on education !...

All whilst he has had his 13 year old daughter sat at the kitchen table doing b&m workbooks for 8 year olds for the last year and he has pulled his other daughter from school six weeks before exams start because of something HE said on a vlog caused a petty argument.

Even for the dimwit Steve the irony is off the chart on this one.

My boy tells me that apparently people in Sophies year have found out about the blogs and videos are going round of the bits where he names that lad and calls him stupid. Notice he called them bullies. Just to be clear they are completely separate to the other ones he was calling bullies a few months ago. None of them are bullies. He doesn’t teach his kids any resilience so kids saying “why does your dad vlog about school “ etc is seen as bullying. Obviously the school don’t agree with his version as they have been in touch and surprise surprise he’s thrown his toys out the pram. The primary school wouldnt let Lacey wait for him in reception (as she was down as needing 1:1) so he had a paddy and removed her. Now this with Sophie, months before her GCSEs he’s saying she’s not going to school certain days. What an absolute waste of space and failure at life 😂

I’ve followed him for a while and I have a few issues with his vlogs.
I don’t like the tit or titler nickname. It’s gross. I know they had Chloe tested for deafness because of her speech and had her to a speech therapist who apparently said that it would get better on its own (!?)
Lacy probably didn’t do well in school. My niece, also autistic, didn’t so went for homeschooling. She went to college for 1 day a week as well though and started doing her GCSEs a year early and 2 at a time which shes passing with flying colours. Shes 17 now and I’ve recently been to see her in a drama production at the college where she was the only differently abled person taking part. I was so proud of her! I’m from the same area as their family so all of this would be available for Lacy.
Liam, well, nothing to say really. Lovely lad with a bit of get up and go about him.
Soph, not as innocent as she’s made out to be. You can see the attitude in her. Not that I agree with bullying. She’s got some MH issues for sure but I feel some of it is learned behaviour from her dad. When it all gets too much she gets shipped of to Val and Bill for a bit. You get the impression she’d rather be living with them
Steve and Rach. I don’t think they’re bad people, just clueless. They’re a good advert for what happens when Sure Start isn’t available any more. He’s absolutely wrecked by anxiety and projects it onto his kids. He needs therapy as well as meds to manage it. His mum is really overbearing as well which probably plays it’s part. Rach, well, anything for a quiet life really isn’t it.
I usually hang out on the Inghams threads and these are nowhere near as bad as those cretins which is probably why I’m being a little bit kinder to this lot

I’m sorry but they just don’t care. School isn’t important to them - they dismissed taking Liam in because “there’s no point” if he was only there half a day. Time is precious and 3-4 hours of a school day can make a big difference. It could mean him understanding something he was stuck on for weeks - it means 4 hours extra learning about something they might not cover again until revision time when he will have to learn it from scratch.

How are they setting Lacey up for a bright future? Giving her work to do alone she completes in 2 hours. It’s just beyond a joke now, every excuse not to do anything more than the bare minimum. Well don’t expect anything more than bare minimum or below results if they ever enter her for GCSEs or any exam. They’re failing her so badly.

They’ve finally admitted what we all already knew - that scruff “ate” Sophie’s hamster. That poor hamster. I know it was an accident. But Scruff isn’t trained and they really shouldn’t have all these pets considering the way Scruff is with them. He’ll be stressing the guinea pigs out as well.

It really does baffle me that he constantly films the kids stuck in that house, eating crap and constantly on an ipad, and they are scratching their heads as to why they don’t sleep
the fact chloe only went out once during half term is fucking disgraceful, although sadly not surprising
I find it sad that none of the kids seem to go to any clubs outside school such as cubs , guides, or have swimming lessons.
they never seem to of taken chloe to soft play or anything, i know with covid it’s been hard but even before then when she was younger.
They’ve never had a proper birthday party or seem to go to friends or have friends over
I know sophie had her friend over a few times and steve couldn’t resist filming so i wonder if that’s why?
I just feel so sad for those kids
The day trip they did to the beach back in the summer was so heart warming to see, for the kids that is , they loved it and seemed to get on well , shame the parents didn’t seem arsed at all though
😞
