I think the hurtigurten trip is the first gifted one (he mentions this at the start of the video)…looked interesting but just about spilled a full cup of tea when he said that one of the excursions was £250 each!! Looked a stunning cruise though x

Think you're correct but they did get a freebie for her birthday. It wasn't on YouTube but it was on her Instagram. Now in fairness, it was a stay in some lodge or something, not a cruise!
Yeah, I've never got the vibe he's been taking undisclosed freebies (I obviously could be wrong) and it could just be bad timing but the free birthday thing and the free cruise being posted at the same time makes it feel like there's been a shift in his content.
I was recommended a video on YouTube tonight called something like 'Steve Marsh has done more for Cunard's marketing than their own marketing team has' but I didn't watch it. I dunno, I feel like if you are minted enough to spraff twenty grand on a cruise Steve's video isn't going to convince you do it, but maybe it will for the Norway one? I think it's about £5k - £7k when I checked (bearing in mind not that long ago he said he'd love to go on it but could never afford it!)
Also I don't think they've done a vid of the lodges but he does post out of sync with his travels so I guess they might do at some point. Although I don't think he posted it on his IG, just Alicija, so maybe it won't make the channel. I did notice the channel blurb is now updated to "we" so I think it's going to feature them both going forward. Like I say, I did like videos with them both but I've unsubbed now as I'm just liking his stuff less and less.

I’ve done this cruise, albeit via Havila not Hurtigruten. It is, indeed, stunning. It’s also hideously expensive.
I see they've posted a video that includes the FREE stay they got in the Lodge for Alicja's birthday. I won't be watching so I can't comment but I wonder will they mention it was free. I'd imagine he will.

Someone asked in the comments was this not gifted and it has been deleted! This is very dodgy now..... I skipped to read the travel notes as I couldn't resist and he said it cost 300 quid per night. He has carefully crafted it though, hasn't confirmed he paid for it, just mentions what it cost at the time.
So he says it was gifted for her and he page as disclosed on her Instagram. How bleeping sneaky and deceiving is that. What a shame the way the page has gone.
I've watched a few of Scott's... But honestly, I can't get along with the man. He has a bit of a creepy but also snooty vibe to him. Plus he has this REALLY annoying lip-licking tic that he does all the time. Once you notice it, it'll drive you mad as well. It just adds to the creepy-man thing for me.
Him deleting proves it's sinister and why would she be the only one to get a freebie. I believe the freebie was for them both.
Not 100 per cent he deleted it as he answered another one that questioned it. His answer was just so condescending with a smiley face : ) at the end.

It's say Alicja is part of Steve's channel so as I said before I don't believe for 1 second that she was the only one gifted. Steve knows gifted stays annoy people so this will be why he's saying it was only A free.
To book that exact lodge for 2 nights next month, the cost seems to be exactly the same, whether 1 or 2 adults stay.
Steve - don't let this happen again. I've been a defender of yours on this thread. I think a lot of stuff said about you and your partner is utter nonsense. Get back on track and stay transparent and authentic, please!

It sounds like when booking you pay for the lodge and not per person. So looks like Steve did get the free stay as it was a 2 person lodge even though it was only gifted to Alicja according to him. Why not just say that Steve.
