Seriously, there's some hogwash in the comments on here about these two, in my humble opinion!

So Alicja isn't keen on using toilets on public transport? Well many people feel the same way, including myself. I'm not someone who can go hours and hours without visiting the bathroom, but the thought of train and plane lavatories fills me with dread, given the condition of them at times. And because I don't want to use those bathrooms if I can avoid doing so, I don't drink a lot of liquid prior to boarding such modes of transport.

I have never seen anything to lead me to think Alicja has an eating disorder! What I have seen is that both Steve and Alicja appreciate and enjoy very 'average' food from cafes and take-aways etc - the sort of thing that is not beyond the budget of very average people, like me. I realise they could possibly opt for healthier choices - and sometimes I shudder at what Steve's eating, and wonder if Alicja worries about his health - but then I say to myself that he's very active, and enjoys his grub, and she doesn't nag him, and they seem like a very happy couple right now and I appreciate their efforts to show what's out there, in the realm of budget travel, accommodation and dining options.

Steve is a good guy in my books. Good content and doesn't come across an arsehole and is polite to the folk he interacts with - I'm a fan personally.

This thread has certainly gone a strange way….I couldn’t care less about reading into their relationship, sex drive or how much they are eating. They seem nice enough and I actually enjoy their content, seeing places I wouldnt see, be it at home or abroad.

Okay let me collect myself and try to get with the program. Back to senselessly demonizing predator Steve Marsh for using Patreon exactly as it is intended to be used (instead of other actually aggravating and/or exploitative methods) to generate income to support his general living expenses and travel costs from which he generates content full time. I’m trying so, so hard to be irrationally disgusted by this behavior of his, getting paid money for his labor and reliably giving people content they want every week. I’m trying, guys. I’m also trying to formulate negative assumptions about Alicja that kind of reek of classism and xenophobia and sexism. I want to fit in Is there a hotline we can report predator Steve Marsh to? People here seem to be strongly hinting at financial elder abuse of the internet savvy octogenarians and other enfeebled persons who constitute the bulk of his Patreons. Blackmail is a terrible terrible thing and there should be a reckoning day for this tag team of shysters.

I'm on threads that it's clearly to see why they have Tattle threads by their own actions, words & using their kids for content.
But this thread in the last week has been full of made up ,vile & unnecessary comments with no credible evidence to back up their claims.

It's bizarre, isn't it? I subscribe (with ad-block enabled...) to Steve for the low-fi, budget friendly travel content and didn't even know he had a thread until 20 minutes ago. When I saw how it had gone crazy with posts I honestly wondered if I should put the news on as he'd hijacked a North sea ferry and declared Foula a Democratic Republic or something. Instead it's a pair of weirdos being weird. Must be tall poppy syndrome "Jings, there's no M&S in Montrose!"

Now I'm going to use this thread to experiment with the ignore button for the first time

Yes. This thread is severely troubled and truly strange. The appetite to project all this malice and conspiracy on this random travel content creator and his albeit odd but seemingly mutually gratifying relationship with this inoffensive younger woman is kind of off the damn charts. Like did Steve Marsh kick someone’s dog here? Did Alicja sleep with their dear hubby? What is even going on.

I see travel influencers everyday on YT who are generating unethical, exploitative, horrifying content doing things like poverty tourism and milking every possible dodgy revenue stream out there and getting so many freebies. Meanwhile Steve (and Alicja) is producing original “wholesome” content full time and seemingly paying his way (with support from subscriptions and Ad Sense) and minding his own business, but somehow he’s being held up as a predator and others who use similar or patently worse revenue streams get an inexplicable free pass.

I enjoy some gossip and I’m harshly, nastily critical of many “lifestyle” influencers who are mainly walking sandwich boards for overconsumption. But,like, this Steve bozo and his odd kind of charming girlfriend are just showing us cool, quirky, beautiful, and sometimes just ho hum places on earth…

Yeah i immediately thought it was a father and daughter like Steve is only in his 50s but he looks much older, I thought he looked about 68, and even she's 30 she acts immature a lot of the time, I bet most folk think they're father and daughter when they see them.

You make some awful assumptions, you do know she has a full time job, and I can bet she’s contributing more than him as polish people have an inherent need to pay there way, I’ve never met a lazy polish person. What makes you think she’s getting anything out of this? I’d say the opposite that she’s possibly funding his YouTube ‘career’ it maybe an age thing with your comments but I don’t see what you see and I’m not blind. She isn’t with him on vlogs as she works, when she is I just see her as enthusiastic as she’s time away from her job but to him this is his job so he’s less wowed.

It’s bordering on bizarre!! Make 8 posts in succession repeatedly who does that? I blocked them. It’s these type of obsessive behaviours that bring tattle into disrepute, out and out nut jobs!

I’ve watched Steve for a while, I like his vlogs and at least he creates content worth watching.
He’s the same age as myself so maybe he just appeals to gen x and older rather than a younger audience. I don’t care for kids either!

Just discovered Steve marsh has a 45 page tattle thread and wondered what dirt on him I’d missed.

After about 15 pages I had to put two posters on ignore and I’ve ended up flicking through the last 30 pages in a few minutes.

What an odd thread.

I had to come and see what was being said about Steve Marsh, honestly I was shocked to see he has a thread here The age gap is a bit more than I thought it was, I assumed Steve was younger than he is haha but they seem to have a good level relationship, at least from the outside

I came across his channel last year and grown very fond of his content and his style of travel. It's not something I would (or could) do in most cases but that's why I enjoy seeing him traveling to random places in Europe, using a lot of different transportation options and giving a somewhat impartial review of it all. (Not to mention his ferry videos helped me overcome some of my sea travel anxiety.) I also like Alicja, I wish I had her attitude towards unexpected travel challenges. Steve's street food quest in New York or the Grimaldi party cruise would have pushed me over the edge, that's for sure lol.

I like how chill they are and he's given me a lot of travel inspo for the future, even though I'm more inclined to comfort over saving some cash. He comes off as a bit earnest and cheesy sometimes but I like that, we have enough irony poisoning on the rest of the internet. I hope he is as decent in real life as he seems online, nothing surprises me anymore but I'd be sad if he turned out to be a weirdo.
