As a victim of revenge porn myself, I’m SO proud of Georgia!
Unfortunately for me, this incident happened in 2014 so not long before it was made illegal. The police did not give a SHIT, blamed me and pretty much laughed me out of the building. I went to 3 different police stations desperate for help. I had the same response from them all!
The video was plastered all over certain websites, Facebook, Facebook groups including local community pages! It was sent on a USB and also emailed to my work, my DAD, my Dad’s work, etc etc. Also sent on all forms of social media to everyone he and I knew in the local area. Loads of my ‘friends’ fell out with me and cut ties with me.
Disgusting. To do this day I am still enraged! I still get shitty comments, it will never be forgotten.

I was talking about Uk Prisons. And before saying anything I asked the advice of a Band 11. Last time I checked, unless the law has changed, the visitors reception area is still under the 1952 Prisons Act. What next? She takes photos of someones key pouch when they unlock the door through to screening? Nobody is suggesting she attempted to convey a prohibited article into a secure area. However she has:

40D Other offences relating to prison security
(1) A person who, without authorisation—
(a) takes a photograph, or makes a sound-recording, inside a
prison, or
(b) transmits, or causes to be transmitted, any image or any sound	40
from inside a prison by electronic communications for
simultaneous reception outside the prison,
is guilty of an offence.
(2) It is immaterial for the purposes of subsection (1)(a) where the
recording medium is located.

I would respectfully submit, (a) she was inside HMPPS property and under the control of HMPPS when she put the wristband on. (B) Didn't have the authorisation of the Secretary of State/anyone else when she (1a) took a photograph or made a sound recording inside a prison.

And for the purposes of (2) it doesn't matter whether she uploaded it in the jail, at home or on Mars. The law is the law. No matter what country you are in
