Whilst I was initially very disappointed that it was with the The Sun, @HotesTilaire raised a really good point. Their readers are exactly the type of men that need educating and calling out with their attitudes towards women.

So duck it, Georgia should shout about it wherever and whenever she can. I for one am sick and tired of crappy men taking advantage of us and I hope this makes revengeful arseholes think twice in future. I hope it makes any person that has shared private pictures or videos they shouldn’t have tit their bleeping pants that it could be them up in that dock next. I want them to feel the shame and fear that we do. And I hope it gives more women the strength to come forward if it’s happened to them.

It was fantastic hearing her speech on BBC Radio 1 yesterday. I think they might’ve even interviewed her but I couldn’t stay and listen.

The BBC’s angle was certainly not victim blaming and instead, more about raising awareness and support for victims.

She’s doing a fantastic job of getting the word out and If it helps just one other person, it’s worth it. I for one couldn’t care if it’s in the Sun, Heat magazine or on a billboard! If she gets paid for it, so what? It’s the least she deserves right now

What would be the point in G doing another paper, an upmarket one? Or a woman’s magazine? Women and educated men already know revenge porn is wrong, and why. Bear is a twit and got what he deserved (read my posts history in his threads). But let's not pretend people actually like Georgia. She's been abused on here loads over many years. All I am saying is she's risking the judge thinking along the lines of "just like Bear with his Only Fans promotion tweets she's using the case to make money" and that's not a good look. Why the rush to sell your story to a paper hated across the country the day after? Why not wait a while?

Selling her story to the papers isn’t a crime and she was never on trial for anything, so why would the judge care what she does now following the verdict? She can do as she wants. The judge isn’t suddenly going to decide Bear didn’t commit a crime because Georgia is telling her story to the press.

I’m more so wondering why the duck Bear is allowed to use social media when he’s just been convicted of sex crimes using social media. What the??

People need to understand the risks - thousands of images are shared daily without permission from the sexy photo that was sent to a now ex to a consensually recorded video that is watched shared without permission.

The impact, we’ve heard can be life changing… if it makes this crime more understood & more likely not to be brushed off as “your fault” then I’m all for it x

Georgia is not the one on bail awaiting sentence is she, she is the victim and the judge should certainly not be judging the victims behaviour post vindication, rather than the convicted criminal!

So sick of this attitude of women being told when and where they can and can’t do things like she has to run away and be quiet like a ‘good little victim’ now. The only person who should be worrying is Bear. Georgia waived her anonymity, let her speak ffs. Bear’s been allowed to flaunt his disregard and lack of respect for the whole process but Georgia needs to keep quiet? What the duck.

Are the articles actual interviews she's given with them, (I haven't read them, so can't form an opinion) Or could they be excerpts from different interviews and things she's posted on social media? You know what the papers are like.

No one can blame her for 'striking whilst the iron is hot' though and keeping the media interest going.

She's handled the whole thing with dignity. I'm sure there is SO much she could say about that cockwomble but she's kept it too herself. I'm not too sure what there is to 'dislike' about her.
