To be honest it's always been that.

Influencers that are used to having zero accountability calling anything other than gushing praise trolling. Telling people to shut up as anything other than praise affects their health .

That's what happens when a whole load live in a bubble of praise and don't deal with healthy normal things such as an annual review.

She could be right but if I, as any old person coming in to wherever it is she is provide those mental health services, were to receive that kind of judgement straight off the bat, that’s frightening.

Look, the guy is an absolute turd. If he has done what he has done then he needs to answer to the courts about it.

But half of his behaviour IS a mental health issue. Narc Personality Disorder is a diagnosable illness on the DSM. Lying about his mental health is a mental health issue in itself.

But the polarised “he’s lying vs he is unwell” rhetoric here (and no grey area in between) just shows how messed up our society is on mental health commentary.

The thing is with the situation with bear, there’s been weeks/months of build up to this. So it isn’t someone judging him ‘off the bat’. Normally, somebody who works in mental health hasn’t had access to months, even years worth of social media footage in order to form an opinion when someone is referred to them. He’s given us all enough of an insight into his life to quite comfortably say whether this is in fact a cry for help, or it’s fake.
I think the comment was a fair one, and absolutely no reflection on this persons career in mental health at all!
