It is, I rent in London too and I had to even get proof of my job role and salary from my HR. It’s bog standard.

I rent elsewhere and still had to provide salary and proof of employment. I honestly think influencers get so twitchy about it because they fiddle the books and have probably told HMRC they're on a lower salary than they actually are, however when they want to rent somewhere nice then they have to provide a high salary etc
100% she’s not truthful with HMRC. Probably a agenda of stepping up and fighting the government or something....
Definitely standard. In September my husband and I left London and moved back to my hometown in the north to start saving some money. We used to rent a £1800 house in London and we moved into a £495 flat here and still had to provide 6 months bank statements, employee reference, pass a credit check, AND provide a personal reference from a professional person. This was both of us as well.

She must’ve gone through the process before so I don’t know why she’s acting like it’s brand new information. Yes it’s a pain but surely they wouldn’t let you move in without checking you can cover the rent? And yes you probably do get agents trying their luck trying to bump up the rent accordingly which sucks, but it’s just what you need to do.
yes they caught a lot of people out when they did the self employment support scheme during covid!
I always thought it was pretty standard to be asked for financial information, no one wants to rent to someone who potentially can’t afford it

No, pretty sure she went to Pimlico School - she mentioned her negative experiences very briefly with the recent fiasco on the uniform policy.

There's something sketchy about the renting............. this time last year she actually posted on her Insta stories that she was applying for universal credit. Then weeks later she was looking for a flat on her own in Clapham. Hmmmmm.

I’m super confused as she’s just stated she’s currently 25 and turning 26 in May... yet she make a huge hoohah about her 30th in 2019?!

Literally cannot keep up with her lies but in all seriousness, she lies a lot and is really, really bad at it. To lie the way she does at her age suggests a personality disorder imo. I used to think she needed counselling for things like lack of self-esteem but I think her problems run much deeper.You forget she also has savings for holidays abroad

I haven’t read the article but she didn’t write it. I know Tattle has a bad reputation, especially relating to some minor celebs, but I personally (try to) never say anything outright horrible or nasty and I don’t hate-follow anyone. I generally LIKE these creators but sometimes they do things which annoy me and that should be fine!
Steph was criticising Khloe K yesterday because she didn’t like X and Y that Khloe said - how is that any different? If I say ‘I don’t like it when Stephanie Yeboah says “the whites” because I feel she’s only saying it to be deliberately provocative’ or ‘I think she comes across incredibly picky with men’ suddenly I’m the worst person in the world.
At the end of the day, don’t read Tattle if you don’t like it.
