Finally unsubscribed. She's gotten so childish - just was watching the lush make up video but switched it off and unsubscribed.
I feel like one penis joke is a bit tongue in cheek but saying penis every other sentence and making everything into a sexual innuendo has gotten so boring.
Also, they literally didn't look like any penis I've ever seen...
Her testing videos used to be good but she literally just puts it on.
No close ups anymore, no wear tests, no information about the actual product.

I actually really like Steph, I think she's funny and down to earth and different without being all "I'm not like other girls" about it, one thing that does bug me though is that she pre films her videos so far in advance that it seems almost irrelevant? Sophie Hannah also does the same thing in IG and for some reason, I can't put my finger on it, it annoys me!

Is there a Sophie Hannah thread on here? If not there should be.

But on topic - I don't mind Steph Toms but I don't think her make up skills are really that good tbh and I'm not sure how she has become so popular on YT. I like watching her PR hauls although most of the time they are so behind other influencers I've already seen all the stuff in them.

Her uploading is very sporadic, she isn't at all consistent. Does she have a 'normal' job because I can't see how she earns a huge amount with such a sporadic uploading schedule.

I feel like Steph's content has gone down hill lately. Loads of hauls where she doesn't actually try anything, and lots of videos that are clothes that are always fast fashion or just her doing her hair or nails.
I always liked her doing make up...even though I personally don't vibe with her style I found them really relaxing and entertaining.
I recently lost respect for her because when she was holiday she did a Q&A and someone asked her about body positivity...her entire answer was based on her weight and I thought she really doesn't understand body positivity if she thinks it's only for slim people

Steph talking about getting botox in her jaw as she clenches her jaw due to stress (same but I use a teeth guard thing and mindfulness as cringe as that sounds). So of course that was me TRIGGERED. WHAT IS SHE STRESSED ABOUT? She records herself getting her nails done, takes photos while she plays video games winking with her tongue out to the side and doing a v sign like my 6 year old. And she sleeps during the day and watches netfkix half the night and So mUCH streSS. Arghhh are you kidding me/us????!! It was sad about her mum but what has she got to be stressed about? Anxiety i get, it doesn't need a trigger but stress? So triggered.

I feel like she had already decided she didn’t like it before she’d even started the review because of the ‘hype’ but even then, all the reviews I’ve seen on it have been negative anyway. She put so much of it on that I’m not surprised it made her skin look textured. Not that you could tell because the macro shot wasn’t on the screen long enough (or actually in shot) to see all the texture she was trying to point out, which is the case every time she changes over to macro. Its actually pretty pointless.

I know I’ve defended her before and she deffo is better at eye make up than I am but I think what I like about her is that she applies make up the way I do albeit I like a lot less coverage as in I love watching the likes of Keilidh cashell etc but I can’t keep up with her skills at all so I think that’s why I like stephs make up cause I feel like I could prob do that

I do think she can be biased either for or against some make up before the video even starts so you know which way it’s going to go from the off. I think she could change things up again and people would enjoy her content a lot more because eventually the same thing does just get repetitive and no one wants to sit and watch something that’s been done 100 times over.
