And also saying she doesn’t remember much from her childhood? I guess she just has a bad memory?

If your parents named both you and your brother after Stevie why wouldn’t she know the music? Wouldn’t they be playing it around her so she grew up knowing the songs by heart?

Not understanding that there’s about 11 Companies that control EVERY MAJOR THING WE BUY.

The main food manufacturers around the world and it’s bought and distributed by other companies such as Trader Joe’s. I don’t know what they’re teaching kids in Ohio, but holy duck. Wait until she finds out about Nestlé, not like she’ll give a tit.
She doesn’t know how we all have iPhones. Where they come from and the control and collapse of those countries so we can all do the important and dumb tit we do everyday on these screens we stare at.

2. Of COURSE it costs money! Takeaway cups aren’t free, the cream is not free, whatever topping was on it is not free, and the employee’s time to make it is certainly not free! The entitlement!
Genuine question from me, are they actually usually free though?
I’m always shocked watching videos from the States were you guys get all your sauces for free lol - we DEFINITELY have to pay extra for sauce here. And “puppychinos” and “fluffies” (frothed milk for lil kiddies) are most definitely not free either!

Have you noticed in NZ they NEVER offer sauces with your meals? Like they just expect you to eat it all dry or something? I've noticed with US mukbang videos they almost always ask their customers which types of sauces they would like -it INFURIATES me here in NZ that they don't lmao, or maybe it's just in my area? It's almost a pet peeve of mine,

But you’re right, you are absolutely NEVER offered anything extra! And if you do ask for a condiment, it’s certainly not free! You’re lucky McDs gives you one packet with your nuggets!

I think in this sense though the guy (who killed her father and dog) was probably deep into the end of his rope and didn't get help in time. The question here would be where was his family or partner or friends, unless he was a loner yeah it is sad but it's no reason to feel justified in doing such a horrendous action

Sorry I don’t give a tit if he had an addiction. Yeah, I’m sure he regrets it now but rightly so. Her dad is dead, as someone who lost her Dad young myself, it is world shattering. Unfortunately actions have consequences, difference is he has life after his, Steph’s Dad does not and his family have to live with the pain forever.

Devil's advocate is not what you do in a case involving somebody killing someone bc of their own reckless actions. Judging by the replies on that girl's post I wouldn't be shocked if her account was private or deleted by now

It was definitely a weird and insensitive thing to say online, not sure what she thought she'd get out of it. My partner lost his best friend to a drunk and reckless driver who actually wanted to hurt people on the road, thinking it was a fking joke to slam into cars at high speed on a highway. He got his car to flip over killing him pretty much instantly, his gf who was driving lost her eye and broke a lot of bones but survived and their two rescue dogs that I used to walk and pet sit got flung out of the car and I wont even go into detail of how horribly they went, 3 years later and we're still crying over it. Guy who did it luckily was convicted and is in jail now (he was also wanted for other accidents he caused). So yeah, hard to feel sorry for people who do this stuff.

Sorry for the long post, this thread brought back a lot of memories.
