What are peoples thoughts on episode one of the pod?
I’m not a huge podcast listener but I liked it. The topic was a bit basic but I think she did well.
I only listen to two podcasts, my therapist ghosted me and Talkin bollox but I was so excited for this, I really like Sophie but I hated it I had to turn it off, I will definitely listen to the next episode before I make up my mind though.
I wonder if it’s because I’m used to podcasts with two people to bounce off eachother.
Just came across this thread. While she seems relatively harmless I find her disingenuous to the point that it's almost patronising. Calling her followers her 'besties' is weird, she doesn't know them and like all the rest of the influencers only cares about them as they bring her revenue. The theme of the podcasts seems very vacuous and empty headed. Like, in this day and age do young women really not have anything more intelligent to say? The lips pursing and blowing kisses at the end of every video is getting old and I wish to god she would buy clothes that actually fit her instead of walking around looking like a child in her dad's overcoat. She doesnt seem to own anything where the sleeves are the proper length and not engulfing her hands. It looks sloppy.
To me it comes across child like? It's like she's trying to portray a cute young girl no? The excited 'girly wirly' shrill screams, the pouting, the oversized clothes like look at me I'm just a teeny tiny little girl hehe.
