She’s scaremongering and incredibly triggering for people with eating disorders. I’ve seen friends refusing to eat because the food contains seed oils, sugar or emulsifiers. There is nothing wrong with any of these. 😬

It never ceases to amaze me that people will believe the tripe she (and others like her) spouts over actual qualified people i.e. dieticians, scientists etc!

I see Brian Keane is going to have her on his podcast now 🙄
People are such sheep. Absolutely no cop on. I was reading the comments on her latest video about cereals. It's groundbreaking stuff.... Coco pops and honey nut cornflakes are the sweet options 🤯

What really baffles me is the ones asking her to compare say Aldi Cheerios to Kelloggs. Can they not read or Google? Pretty much every label is available online but they're acting like she is this profound source of wisdom who must be consulted

I don't understand how those collabs make any sense. Nobody is buying a specific car cos some neurotic middle aged woman was given use of one.
I understand rugby players etc being BAs for high end cars. It creates a certain image of the calibre of that car's drivers. But people like her? Nobody wants to be Sophie

I see Sophie won at Irish Book Awards, how is that possible.
It really is shocking how irresponsible the media etc have been in promoting her. There are great RDs calling her out, including INDI and it seems to have no impact on her profile

This one is spreading like wildfire and a farmer commenting on the post has actually said she's wrong, if a farmer is calling her out you know she's full of mit 🤣 people absolutely going bananas about the beef not being Irish when food coming into the EU still has to abide by the EUs very strict food standards.

The issue is the Brazilian cattle aren't raised like the EU cattle they are given growth hormones and antibiotics these are restricted massively in EU esp Ireland. Same as crops/ cereals all have pesticides and chemicals used on them for fertiliser that are banned in the EU.

But are lots of Brazilians sick or dying from eating their local meat?? Or is it just Irish farmers worried about competition?

My local German supermarkets are full of farming families filling their trolley with UPFs and alcohol... I don't hear them screaming to ban frozen chips or pizza? Or alcohol 🤔

Won't someone stand up for the Irish potato farmers, the dairy and tillage farmers or the grape growers and Irish wine makers 😆

I see this one is going after school meals now, particularly The Lunch Bag. The usual thing, listing off additives but not explaining what her problem with them is. Then she’s saying there are inappropriate tactics being used in the procurement process. She’d want to be careful or she’ll end up being sued!

The comments are deranged. All the RDs and evidence based professionals are being very vocal about how dangerous SM is.

This is getting interesting.

Katriona O Sullivan is going off about her as well
Binge Eating Dietitian, Dietetically Speaking, Intuitive Eating Ireland, Sarah Keogh, Orla Walsh....it's great. Finally an effort to bring her down. I'd love to see the school meals company sue her.

My son gets food from the lunch bag and I am very happy with it. People sending her pictures of their child’s leftovers and saying the food looks appalling. Of course it won’t look its best by the time it gets home! People really are thick.

In fairness she has some very valid points.
Yes the scheme is not perfect but it is monitored and reviewed on an ongoing basis.

One of the messages Katriona shared also said something interesting, the writer said how SM is making money from all the engagement she gets on these posts, so effectively profiting from throwing shade on an anti-poverty measure.
