Sorry but I don’t agree with this . Sex work is work , it’s supplying a demand . If the demand wasn’t there , then it wouldn’t exist . It’s a real job that requires doing your own accounts , tax etc . I don’t think we should be shaming sex work and feeding into a misogynistic mindset . Men want sex workers , they pay them for a service and that’s it . it’s been around since god was an egg and will always be around . People sleep with others as one night stands for free but don’t get demonised as much as sex workers . what I do have an issue with , with Sophie, is how she exposes her children to the adult world. She doesn’t allow them To be kids and lead normal lives (I know plenty of sex workers with kids who lead normal lives with no idea of the real job their parents do) Sophie is letting them into a world that is for adults and certainly not for the faint hearted . I follow Sophie May Dickson as I used to be fascinated with the whole Jack relationship thing, I thought how he treated her girls and her was absolutely lovely and something out of a Hollywood movie (although you guys may disagree with me). Anyway getting to the point, if the threats were followed through and she was reported to social services, she would have been properly vetted and checked out so I actually don’t think there is a cause for concern for her girls. Looking well fed and happy isn’t the be all and end all though is it. They dont even look happy to me they look dead behind the eyes.
