This is the first time I’ve ever commented on a site like this but I really hope they both look on here, I would post on YouTube but it will get deleted so here goes ...
Dave - I drift from not liking him to feeling sorry for him. I genuinely feel like at the moment he has some form of depression, we obviously only see snippets of their day but to me it comes across that Sophie is a complete bitch to him and he is that brow beaten that he just plods along doing as he is told ! I’m from Glasgow and have seen his mum in some of the vlogs and it’s maybe time she got a grip of him and told him to man up and get his act together ! Get on a proper weight loss programme even if that means going to the doctor as he clearly has no idea what he’s doing . Dave if your reading .. where is your Scottish fighting spirit .. time to grow up , release yourself from Sophie’s apron strings , get out the house , have friends and socialise and get your act together!! Stop all the over the top compliments to Sophie and concentrate on loving yourself

I’m all for people making a living off social media if that’s the way of the world now but at least have decent content

Okay, I’m going to say it.

Soaf, is an absolute shit parent / wife. Now, I work in a career that often introduces me to many parenting styles but this one takes the biscuit. She’s codependent yet selfish. Caring yet narcissistic. It’s a very damaging way to be. Barney will never reach her expectations yet she will sit on her arse and judge him whilst she achieves NOTHING in her life.
Dave is just dependant on her. He knows no other woman would touch him with a barge pole and so puts up with her narcissistic/ psychotic behaviour. He has VERY little self esteem when you really get down to it.
Barney deserves better. They are nothing but lazy losers who have no drive, passion or goals in life. It’s quite frankly embarrasing.

Dave would really benefit from joining the gym, especially if he could make some friends. The pair of them are far too co-dependent, they need some space, she is dragging him down.

Just an analogy here

Soph doesn't want Dave to lose weight.
Being at the weight and this little confidence she has a control factor over him.
I can almost guarantee when she snaps she says something vicious like no one else would want him.
She knows if he lost weight his confidence would grow. Which could lead to him actually getting a job, socialising, meeting people and realising how one sided their relationship is.
Whilst he is overweight Sophie is his only option and he feels lucky someone like her could want him.
Meanwhile Sophie gets someone that dotes on her permanently

My ex would tell me i didn't need to lose weight and told me to stay in
Then the next breath call me fat and to consider myself lucky I had him.
Can't help but wonder if there's a similar situation

And another thing
His bestie Matthew Bept did - I have to say a very good HIIT at home work out. Why didn't Dave do that and film it? When they're meant to be best friends.

Others have raised this before, but Sophie's got form for lying. Her post today, about having hated her job and their house in Basingstoke (etc), is in complete contrast to her vlog content at the time, where I seem to recall her talking about how she was really enjoying her job, and how she had made friends at work, etc. She just says whatever best fits her chosen narrative at the time.

I just honestly find them both so tragic. Like genuinely, I'd absolutely top myself if I had their lives. No friends, no adult interaction, no nice meals, no drinks, no excitement, no anything, just a bland boring lonely vanilla bubble of two friendless adults, a baby they made while playing house, and a dog that never gets to play, meet other dogs or do anything apart from sit around.
