Why do these influencers take pregnancy tests after they’ve had copious amounts of water via their Stanley cups….usually in the middle of the day? They’d save themselves a small fortune if they did the tests as instructed. Human chorionic Gonadotropin gets stored up in the bladder during sleep …and therefore, the highest levels are when you get up. There’d be none of this ‘ooh I think I can see a faint line’ business ….Sorry, I’m a retired nurse and menopausal

I read your comment before I'd watched the video, but I honestly didn't expect that an 11 minute video would be 9 minutes and 50 seconds of her repeatedly showing us the same faint lines on the same 8 tests she'd done I know it can feel a bit frantic but she clearly doesn't have the emotional maturity to step back and say she'll take a test first thing in the morning to get a clearer result, what a waste time and money (as well as almost 10 minutes of my life I'll never get back watching it). What annoys me the most is the plastic waste of tests she knew wouldn't be accurate because she was being impatient.

The TTC thread on here is great for support from other women going through the same thing. I'm not TTC but I often read it as it's just full of lovely women supporting eachother. Just letting you know incase you haven't seen it (and if you're ok to read/post there!).

Sorry for everyone struggling with TTC but I wish you all the best and of course you have to do what's best for your mental health.

I’ve been struggling for years (on and off because I’ve had endo surgeries etc going on which delayed it) and it feels like the last two years or so all I’ve seen is constant pregnancy announcements where it seems everyone else is so easily getting pregnant. Sending love to you it does suck and I’ve had to unfollow loads too!

This actually made me angry cause I didn't watch her "I'm pregnant" video for my mental health (TTC and a miscarriage have wrecked me) and that witch still has to rub our noses in her pregnancy tit.

Of course she got HG I’m not downplaying it, I had it an it is horrendous, absolutely debilitating, but seemed such a her thing to happen.

Yeah I wasn't surprised she said she had HG and acted like it was some unknown thing to everyone else. I will be expecting her to claim to have the longest, hardest labour too.

She won't pay out of her own pocket though, she wants it free!

I don't believe for one minute that she was surprised. According to her, it was shortly before her period was due anyway. If it was somehow unexpected and you were using contraception properly, I don't think you'd start to suspect until you were getting on for a week late, even if you're normally regular as clockwork. I think they must have been trying.

The whole finding out she’s pregnant video was really weird. She says she didn’t even miss her period, but when she gets negative test she doesn’t believe it because there was barely a line on other ones.
Like she never heard of false positives. It really seemed she was trying to force it to be positive, instead of waiting a couple of days to see if she’ll get her period. And then says she was surprised.

I think what she means is, she was surprised it only took them one go to get pregnant. She has poorly worded it but I don’t think she was surprised she was pregnant, just how quickly she’s managed to do it

i don’t get why people feel the need to say how quickly they got pregnant though. when i announced mine i didn’t go round saying “i’m pregnant! only took 5 months though!” like no one gives a crap?

I think she’s just one of those people that comes off contraception and says ‘yeaaah let’s just see how it goes’ and isn’t like 100% ready to say ‘Yes let’s go for it, let’s try!’ So then they are actually genuinely shocked (if that’s the right word because they still know there’s a chance but are also stupidly naive about it at the same time) when it happens like that
