Having heard different songs playing -- in Tesco, in the neighbour's backyard, in Costa -- over the last few days, I've arrived at the firm conclusion that I loathe Stevie Wonder's entire discography.

How does it go again?Earlier in the thread it was said adverts ruin songs. The song you mentioned is an exception. It was ruined before BMW used it. Ruined when they chose to have irritating screamed, at times tuneless and shrill vocals for the chorus. Add to that banal lyrics. It’s deliberately done for TikTok/Instagram videos/German car manufacturers advertising in my opinion. May as well have been created purely to be used for an advert. They’ll only ever use that section of it; the rest of it is unmemorable.
EDIT: I guess it could have worked better if a different singer sang it. It doesn’t sound suited to Benson Boone’s vocal range and he’s straining.
