There's a long by Ella Langley Radio 2 play. "I just wanna be her". Makes me want to dig my ears out with a rusty spoon 😬😬😬

The hook is a blatant ripoff of 'Don't Delete the Kisses' by Wolf Alice and 'Man Child' by Sabrina Carpenter. 😑

I'd never really thought about it before, but that Elvis song that's used in an advert: A Little Less Conversation (A Little more Action, Please) is getting on my nerves. I know - as they say - certain sitcoms/songs, etc, were of their time ... But the more I hear the words of that song, all I can think that it means is: Oh do shut up, woman - I'm not interested in your personality - just get your knickers off. 😬

I actually hate the other song she released (I really really really really like you) and remember Damon Alban complaining about it.

She's the embodiment of what's wrong with the industry. Apparently you can't be a female singer without the humiliation ritual of taking your clothes off and acting like a literal stripper. It's also really concerning how she's currently only 23, because it means that some creepy execs probably started grooming her to be hyper-sexualized when she was a teen. It's also really problematic how this is being sold as empowering when it's degrading women.
