I have 2 bonuses in my Christmas pay check. Hoping to buy a new laptop if the taxman doesn’t take too much!
On that subject, I'm looking forward to a letter from the HMRC, I hope my Self Assessment form was okay.

My children possibly going back to school and nursery from 22nd (will find out Tuesday, we’re Scotland). They both need to mix with other children and are fed up stuck at home.

Further than that, I look forward to having my second dose Covid vaccine at the beginning of April. I just want the time to fly in so we can all start to get back to normal and also so my husband and I can start trying for baby #3.

Christmas Day. I finish up work for the rest of the week on Christmas morning and don’t go back until 28th (working over New Year too). I’ll be exhausted and about as much use as a chocolate teapot, but I can’t wait to see my sons’ little faces when they see that Santa has been and open their presents. I can’t wait to relax in the evening with my husband when it’s all done, eating chocolates and having a few drinks.

Tonight, Kate and I are going to have an "adults only" party games kind of gig! (If you can call just 2 people in a room a party, lol)

We had a chat about this a few days ago and we're going to turn words into actions. Not sure how it will pan out but all inhibitions will be left on the doorstep, with a little help with Mr Jacob's Creek, Mr Jack Daniels, and the Doobies (plus some toys along the way)

Certainly makes a change from watching a film or TV show. But what the hell, nothing wrong with letting one's hair down once in awhile(y)

Going for a hack in the forest later on this afternoon. It’s a sunny(ish) day here, and I like to race back to the yard just before twilight...😍

My birthday in Feb, sort of, I am not looking forward to being 28 (only two years left of my 20's oh no! :( )
But who doesn't love presents? And I am also making homemade pornstar martinis so wooohoo!!

Starting my new job, I got the offer and have to go for my physical tomorrow but don't have an official start date yet. So I am looking forward to getting that date and putting in my notice 😬

I too will be 28 next month also. Wasn't even thinking about the big 30, until you just reminded me ;)
I’m 30 in 8 weeks. Was supposed to be celebrating on a holiday of a life time. Instead it will be more of this bullshit.

We don’t live near any family or friends and haven’t seen anyone in over a year so I’m really looking forward to it being safe enough to fly again.

I’m finally getting to replace my horrible bathroom suite that we’ve been stuck with for god knows how long 🤪 far too excited for it

I’m looking forward to bed tonight and watching TV with some fizzy cherry sweets!

The board game I've ordered. I haven't owned a board game since I was a kid and haven't played Scrabble in maybe years, so I look forward to playing it with my parents.

In the immediate future, having my nails done next weekend, and going out for dinner in the evening.
Long term: the day I can see my parents, siblings, their partners and children all at the same time!
