I thought the same thing. Lol. Also when she made such a huge deal about spending Xmas in Italy this past year. Then her mom came for New Years anyway.
But she's in Houston, I think? I feel like this is some DL work trip, or maybe she'll also stop over in VT.

It's funny, the journalist Selvaggia Lucarelli Is really hammering influencers, their miniscule #gifted or #supplied declarations and the fuzzy area of taxes. Sofie's latest shampoo gift made me think of this. Teeny tiny, top right.

Sofie had an IG live this morning and I only caught a few mins. It was mainly promoting gifted cosmetics. But she mentioned she doesn't leave the house, so I do wonder if she's scaled back her work? I know she often worked remotely, but part of her job was sending packages, meet ups with Influencers etc. Her mother is coming to visit tomorrow, and I thought it was funny since she said she had no "real" friends in Florence that she can call when she needs lol. She meant childhood/best friends but it sounded funny if thinking about Kacie or Danae.

I'd say she's too medicated. I just wish she'd go back under her rock. I found her in the expat group I'm in, and despite saying otherwise now, in 2022 she said she did have dual citizenship and she was moving to Milano. People told her it was expensive and she was all "I'm from LA." Lol. Then like a week later, she posted "So I found an apartment in Florence! Tell me about this neighborhood!" Then she didn't want anyone's advice about how thrift shops aren't a big thing here (she wanted to sell off her clothes) and got really aggro about it.

Kaia must have really bad colic bc that's the last I saw of Sofie, saying they had rough nights. (Aside from the 1 month post). Unlike Kylie she hasn't been posting "woe is me" shit, so I'll give her that.

Can't find Kacies thread so I'm putting this here. Her pronunciation of caveat wasn't that something from her book she couldn't pronounce? No wonder her Italian pronunciation is so awful if she can't master her native language I guess

What did I miss? Lol. And yes, she was saying "ca-VEET" in a reel, I think of her reading the book. Lol. The other word was albeit.

Sorry again to derail this thread (maybe this just needs to be annoying italian/American influencers) but the latest pasinis youtube is so awkward to watch. I had never seen any of their youtube before but I can literally imagine that their conversations in restaurants etc are just silent. It's so.weird. they have no chemistry

I haven't seen them pop up in a while, but they always seemed like a cheap copy of Carlo and Sarah to me lol. Except he's not as simpatico as Carlo lol. I hope these types of channels/content die out!

Since there are only a few of us here , I think it's ok if we post "general annoying It-American/ influencers in Italy" or similar.

I, like @emm would like to know what her boyfriend does. I just find her antipatica in general, always moaning about something. Like this latest trip, for example. She started not liking Manila and finding it dodgy and then posted the stupid bit with her BF being disgusted by .... Philippine breakfast. "Hahaha, he's so Italian! No cornetti!" It's such an ignorant attitude and not funny or cute. But yay, content! It just seems like they hadn't researched much and are just there to swim and eat.

Also, while I don't support outright insulting or OTT behavior, like threats etc, that comment wasn't even awful! It was calling her out. That happens when you're on social media but she seems to think everyone just needs to like her?
