I think it's about Thea from "Doing Italy." She's so fake AF and always makes things seem so easy and magical. Kacie has promoted her about "moving to Italy" bc it's not her expertise. I wonder if Sofie's mom will eventually move to Italy like many retired and/or wealthy do. It seems like Soph runs to her a lot when things don't go well. I'm not sure if her step-father is retired, but I assume her mother has dual-citizenship as well. If not she could easily get it.
Her putting on makeup lol, and talking about how hard it is to be away from her family so much and how she needed this time away to be "home." But she said she doesn't mean she's moving back to the US. I put "home" in quotes because it struck me. After a while, most expats I know just consider Italy home and "visit family" back wherever they come from. She seems especially attached to her mother.What were her stories? I missed them
