Can someone explain to me how Sofie has managed to make a career for themself, please? I don't find them in the slightest bit funny or interesting and I can only assume that they're rather privileged and so have had many opportunities via that?

she was quite funny on the guilty feminist I thought, but I find her content from later just very repetitive. Her whole identity seems to be just focused on being large, it is really not that interesting

I started listening to The Guilty Feminist without realising Sofie was on it and was really disappointed to find that she was. I was pleased they weren't on for long. I find their humour really dull and kinda contradictory to what you'd expect of Sofie's large politics. Whenever I've seen or heard any of Sofie's performances I cringe because I feel it is playing into this idea what large people should be miserable, depressed, lazy, boring people. Maybe I haven't heard enough of their stuff but that is how it made me feel, even though I know they probably disagree with those stereotypes.

The fact is she is miserable, depressed, lazy, boring and deems every disturbing comment for her as fatphobic.
I am large and I don't identify with her.

A lot of her "humour" seems to be being unkind to people (specifically or a general "everyone else sucks I'm so special" way. On Bad People she often "jokes" about how little she likes her copresenter. It's not funny and also quite arrogant.

She owns her flat - right? She has a garden and despite her claiming it is a 'rough' area, it seems like a fairly central location of north london? (I'm not sure exactly where but it's just a hunch and I could be wrong - I'm sure there are people on here who know the area). She can't be broke - it's ridiculous she would even claim to be broke.

no she rents - there’s been a lot of talk about the fact she’s never mentioned her ‘decorating’ to her landlord. So she probs pays a pretty penny in rent.
I vaguely remember her talking about being in some kind of high interest student debt for her university back home but don’t remember the details.

Really? That surprises me. I saw the horrible paint job and vile wallpaper and assumed she must own the place.

She must be spending a lot on rent then, you're right!

She rents in South - she said something a while ago that made me think her flat is in the Norwood area but I'm not sure. It's still gotta be over £800pcm

What the duck is going on here, forget the dog how’s SHE planning on getting into this monstrosity?!

The logistics of this are ridiculous. The beds have feet on them so it wouldn't even sit flat on top, it would be super unsafe. And as for having bunk bed type railings on all sides, that would make it such a ballache to change the sheets

For a one bed flat anywhere you’re looking at double that now 😬 not including bills! Thank god for Patreon, it keeps half of Twitter in accommodation

Haha I thought so too, I definitely pay a lot more than that for my flat with my boyfriend. But I guess she's right about it not being a nice area because the prices are that low on Rightmove

I don't understand why she would get the dog if she thinks it's too unsafe to walk it. I think she is projecting her fears onto it and using that as an excuse.

That's exactly what I've said from the beginning - Sofie has anxiety. Sofie doesn't like leaving her flat. She's projecting it all onto Hank.

She got Hank for such selfish reasons; not to give him a better home but to serve her needs.

It's so weird that they would constantly go on about only leaving the house like THREE TIMES in the last year or something, and then get pissed off when someone assumes that means they haven't been walking their dog daily. If I say "I haven't been outside in three days" it literally means "I haven't been outside in three days". I cannot believe she's been walking Hank this whole time.

She bought Hank, didn't she? Even if he was adopted, it could be argued that a life with her is better than no home but nah.

I just can't understand why she got him - just to post on social media?
