yeah I definitely don't think she will admit she has made a mistake
lol I could easily see Sofie admitting it was a mistake and framing it in a long caption about nuance and complexity and we’re all human and the opportunity for learning etc etc.

Tbh I think Sofie is too selfish and too attached to Hank to give him up easily, even if it would be the best thing for him.

It’s such a pity they were so selfish they just couldn’t wait until they were able to adopt a better dog for a first time owner, or when they were in a better mental health state to handle it. Obviously all dogs need daily walks and attention, but aren’t Shar Peis really high energy and need a lot of intense care?

She'll put some mental health spin on it, for sure.
It will be trauma related. She bought him because of trauma. She got rid of him because of trauma.

I have complex PTSD because of holding down my father’s contorting body as he died in the street.

I don’t use that to excuse myself for every head decision I make.

You can say she. It’s in her pronouns.

I am really intrigued how much she paid for this dog, dogs like this are expensive anyway, but since lockdown everyone seems to want pets and prices have risen insanely (ouble/triple in some cases) . How she could have bought something like this and then be begging for money on patreon makes me quite angry

If your income is that precarious that you're begging on Patreon then you probably shouldn't even adopt a pet for free, pet food is expensive and insurance and vet bills even more so!

Ah, tbh I remember Sofie saying on a few occasions in lives/shows/stories etc that “they/he” are their pronouns, and the few times someone has referred to them as “girl” Sofie has asked them not to (“not a girl”) so I just personally avoid “she/they”.

she paid for him, easily over a grand

It’s from a breeder that did a complete number on her, told her they had kept him as a puppy but now he was too big etc etc. He was a returned puppy. And they clearly knew he had entropion. She fell for it even though loads of people messaged her warning her about it, because she knows best.

She never wanted to walk this dog.

People tried to warn her.

Damn, people really need to walk on eggshells don’t they.
I wonder how many times total he actually got walked before Sofie decided it was too overwhelming to even try ... Less than 5?
Last I remember there were stories about how hard it was because he got so distracted on walks, and then the walks just kind of stopped?

My two dogs are rescues, one from abroad (Romania) and one from Dogs Trust. They both have their issues but are angels inside the house. Walking them is tough though as they have no manners, I have to do it when it’s quiet. I use special harnesses. I take them to an enclosed dog run for exercise. It’s work but thats the minimum they deserve because it is cruel to never walk a dog. They’re cuddled up to me now, scruffy little no breeds. Best pets ever. I didn’t choose them for their looks.

I've never heard of a dog who doesn't like walks before, unless said dog is ill.

Maybe I'm being thick but I don't see the difference between the message she likes and the one she doesn't? They're both warning her. Is it just that the first is too short for Her Royal Specialness?

it really is like she needs to be babied with the information people give her, surely she could look up signs of this herself?, most people were probably just shocked/angry about the situation and watned to send a quick warning message - i know i would be like that

YEP. I think I got that confused with Sofie not wanting “she/her” pronouns used, but then why would those pronouns be fine but not being called a girl or woman?

Last I recall Sofie said 'pronouns are whatever' but she doesn't want to be called a woman.

Now I don't actually consider myself non-binary but that does kind of make sense to me, I have never identified with being a 'woman' in the sense that I don't feel mature/feminine/curvaceous/motherly enough to fit that title - but idk if that's just semantics or actually says anything about gender identity. 'girl' I'm fine with, except that it's actually massively patronising now that I'm in my mid twenties. Language is annoying.

I have no issue with Sofie being non binary. I have no issue with Sofie generally, as I don’t follow her any more, so her rants about socialism tagged onto requests for influencer work don’t raise eyebrows any more. I do worry about that poor dog though because she clearly has no idea what the duck she’s doing with him.

What's about the medication she takes (always showing in her stories)? Something to do with her mental health?
More of that today as well. Pretty dull content. Does she want a medal for performing every day tasks (yes, yes she does).

How about instead having a daily video of Hank getting walked?

I messaged her once to ask her if she walked her dog and she wrote about it in her stories saying her ‘stalker’ had been in touch.

I think she’s conflated all the people who message her about her idiocy into one nemesis, because I have absolutely no desire to correspond with her regularly.
