Yeah next year she'll gain it all back plus 3 extra stone. Those that lose it fast always pile it back on
Hi new Tattle member but have to comment, I came across this account a few days ago and the first thought I had was - you are not eating enough. The food pictures your posting is not the amount your consuming a day. To have those loses every week - your in a big deficit . I lost 4 stone a few years back being very strict. I am now sitting at a 5 stone gain. It’s not sustainable and to show a dishonest journey is not fair to others who are following her. I knew as soon as I saw the losses 7 lb one week. 5 lb the second - is nit normal. In a year or two - She will either develop a eating disorder and go too thin or she will disappear from Instagram because she has ballooned. Ive learned from trying to rush a weight loss journey. small changes equals permanent results x

I had a really lovely consultant and our group was the ideal SW group, everything they wish all their groups could be, I lost 3 stone, got all the awards, became part of the team and the weigh lady, we were also supportive when someone was going through a bad time and I honestly loved it, was like an emotional support group. Her success became her downfall really, one session became two, became three and eventually five on the same day and it just lost what had made it so special.

What really did for me though was being the weigh lady, seeing people be either deliriously happy or so utterly crushed by a scale number and their week being ruled by it, they’d come in happy and feeling good, step on the scale and not get the result they expected and bam, their week was ruined. Just devastating to keep seeing and knowing that no one was being real with them, no one explaining how weight loss isn’t fat loss and that hormones, age and so many things effect the number on the scale.

Saw so much disordered eating that always rang warning bells and then when I started following a few of the no nonsense fitness guys and they were laying into SW that I saw the light and realised just how bad it was, for it to survive it needs a massive overhaul. I learned some good stuff, don’t get me wrong, I’ll never buy tinned soup again because making soup is so easy, I made much more effort to cook and I still love the cottage cheese quiche, but never again will I make Pimms with balsamic vinegar or eat an entire cake made from cous cous or that bloody awful syn free cake 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Anyone remember Weight Loss Bitch?

Can I ask how you dealt with the addiction element and prevented yourself from reverting as it sounds like you lost a lot quite quickly yet you have kept it off. Are you still eating the SW way and following the plan to the T or are you calorie counting or perhaps just eating healthy? Thanks
I went absolutely cold turkey on everything, and yeah, I still follow it to the T. It is possible to keep it off, I'm proof of that. I do not for the life of me understand why people work hard to lose a considerable amount of weight and then just pile it back on, thats not sw fault, that can only be the fault of the person in question.

I've not gone hungry, and I certainly dont starve myself.

I went back to SW last year with a free voucher from a magazine, started filling out the form while chatting with another new member about how many times we had signed up before 🙈 by which point i hadnt actually met the consultant yet, looked up to see a large lady scoffing a hifi bar behind the tables and thought to myself surely thats not her...joined the queue to get weighed etc during which the same lady shoved in another hifi bar complaining about how she was starving... she then introduced herself as the consultant! I was astonished! Needless to say i didnt go back and i never will!

I have never read a Michael Mosely book, just aware because of internet headlines etc. Here's my summary just from my personal experience.
1. I feel really good
2. I eat what I want
3. I have lots more energy
4. I'm eating plenty of veg & enough fruit
5. My clothes all fit
6. I'm saving money
7. I'm really happy to be in this condition
Yet someone says oh no you must do something else as this is bad for you & you'll mess up your metabolism! It's falling for dieting all those years ago that messed up my metabolism.
I'm trusting me this time. Not SW, not Michael Mosely, not Fat club, not anyone else. That's all I'm saying on this subject. We all have to find our own answers.

Nah they don’t get paid but some of them flog/indorse products with discount codes etc

For me what annoys me the most are the ones that aren’t even close to target anymore but still have the following and chat shit about getting back ‘on it’ etc

that icountsynsnotcalories is another example of that. Phenomenal weight loss and then maintenance after that. People should be respecting those that get to target and stay there without under-eating and/or doing 17 hours of exercise a day like a psycho.

..and don’t get me started on the overweight consultants!!!
yeah, he has done amazing hasnt he! 😉

I honestly think sw need to keep their consultants in check... how a big fat man can be allowed to stand in a room telling people what they need to do to lose weight whilst being vastly overweight is something I will never accept or understand.

another of the so called slimming world legends... funny how they never post the shit they shovel to have these massive gains but they never forget to post their discount codes.

Also that beast may be syn free but it'll be clocking in at 1000 calories easily between the mince, pasta eggs and cheese.

Gemma B’s cook book which consists of Wraps & Baked oats is on sale for 25 whole pounds. Get in the bloody bin!! She’s not made progress for months, she’s constantly “off plan” and her sweet breakfasts turn my stomach - why would anyone pay that !!

I don't think any of us are disputing the fact that Slimming World works. Yes, it can be a good tool to use to lose weight. I'm guessing most of us here have followed Slimming World at some point and have successfully lost weight.
It's the fact that it puts an emphasis on free (good) food and Syns (bad) food and that some higher calorie foods have to be synned, yet a lot of SW 'free' food adds up to the same amount as the 'syns'.
I've lost around 5 stones over god knows how many years doing every diet under the sun and to this day I cannot stop myself from looking at an item of food and working out how many syns are in it, it's absolutely toxic!
