^ Me too. Absolutely disgusting and disingenuous arseholes. Lisa Nandy would wear her knickers on her head if she was told to. Men cannot be women and you cannot grow cervixes in a laboratory. They lost my vote with this bull.
Mine too. I just wish there was someone I could give my vote to, but all the other parties are even worse, albeit for different reasons.

I hope women stop voting Labour for this reason. The unions aren’t supportive of women’s rights and they run Labour. Starmer is a snake

Lost my vote, too. I ended up going for the Rejoin the EU party because the rest of them were largely problematic in some capacity.

I am so disappointed with Starmer as a leader. He is an almighty flip flopper, seems to blow with the wind, and has lied just as much as the shower before him.

He lost me way before the lying. It’s not even the flip flopping. It’s that an intelligent, capable, well educated person can look women in the eye and tell us that men in dresses are women too. I don’t care what else he does or says. He can get in the bleeping bin.

Which is exactly how Labour got in.
Yep.

We no longer vote for the best party.

We vote for the least worst.

(I voted for an independent - I know they didn't have a hope in hell of getting in, but I just couldn't bring myself to vote for any of the standard self-serving guys.)

The Independent candidate in my constituency was Jeremy Corbyn. I have voted for him before and I cannot deny that he has been an excellent local MP ( putting to one side the absolute debacle of his leadership ) but he has even less idea of what a woman is than Starmer.
There actually wasn’t a least worst candidate here. I’m now politically homeless and it’s bleeping infuriating.

Jeremy Corbyn is a disgrace and an antisemite. Shame on anyone who votes or voted for that. Absolutely disgusting.

Why didn’t they ask what is a man? Nobody seemed to think twice that question. Or is it just a simple answer?

I assume it’s because trans men going into male spaces, male sports etc doesn't present the same level of threat, and because men haven’t had to fight in the same way as women for the rights they have. It’s just not as much of a deal.
And I’m not saying that all trans women are a threat, but some of the behaviour that some of them have displayed since the ruling can only be described as aggressive and violent so they do themselves no favours.

Ding ding ding, we have the answer. As awful as it sounds, it’s the truth.

Not going well for Two Tier Keir is it? Going “harder and faster” on a bunch polices that people fundamentally don’t agree with seems to be an odd strategy to pursue.
This will have Labour back benchers worrying that he isn’t the right man. And it will have Tory back benchers worrying that Kemi isn’t right either.
The press will rightly be digging into the Reform councillors and Mayor who have been elected. Andrea Jenkins has started badly. Farage has no excuses if it’s found that his party still has people who havent been adequately vetted.

So now he’s against mass immigration and has a set list of demands for people coming here. Learn English (should be a given), have skilled workers be educated to graduate level, apparently carers from other countries will no longer be allowed to work here (that’s going to mess up the care system) and legislation being introduced to stop the courts from deciding if people should be deported (eg, you can’t deport me because my kid doesn’t like chicken nuggets in our home country, or my autistic kid won’t speak to anybody but me - even though they don’t have contact with their family!).

I just think that in order to be allowed into the UK, you need ID papers so we can check who you are. I know that they could be faked but at least we can do some sort of background checks on them. We need our ID to access other countries and our own, surely they have some form of ID. It just scares me that anyone could enter the UK. I also know we have home grown people who want to do bad things in the UK but we shouldn’t allow access to more.

My own view is that if you enter illegally, then it's an automatic no. And if you've got no papers it's an automatic no.

My mum’s carers (she lives at home with support) are almost exclusively African. There’s no point in switching off the visas for carers unless something is also done to encourage people already living here to do this type of job. For the care industry that has to include increasing the pay, but what about Nursing? They’re on a decent salary, but the job still can’t attract enough people. Something very wrong.

Nice for Sir Keir that the police were able to find the time and resource to look into the arson attacks at properties he doesn't live at though. And make an arrest.

How the other half live!

Counter terrorist probes investigating LOL I hope it’s an illegal immigrant -who’d have thought all these hoards of unchecked men living in the country could do stuff like this. Hopefully this is the wake up call Kier needed

Yep.

It's not the legal ones entering we need to worry about - it's the 000s of illegals who are already here. Those are the ones costing the country billions.

Do you think the police should have not done anything about it then?

My sister was a nurse with the NHS for over 10 years. She had to take a break for a little while due to knee surgery (didn’t help she would end up covering people’s shifts and doing too much overtime as well as other people’s jobs because they were lazy). She ended up being “scouted” for better word by an agency who sent qualified nurses to hospitals when people were off sick. She was doing the same job as before but getting paid three to sometimes six times more per hour. And this was all by the local NHS trust! So the reason why we don’t have nurses is probably because they’re either working privately or shipped out of the UK for better pay.
