Me either. Their expectations are low nowadays.

It’s shocking honestly. Barney syndrome (?) it used to be called when I was younger. A child would have to be interacting more with iPad / TV watching Americans than interacting with parents or peers for that. The parents should have stepped in to put a stop to that as soon as it started. I remember my 5th class teacher giving out to me for saying the word ‘kids’ instead of ‘children’ one day.
