He is like my worst nightmare as an introvert lol. I enjoy watching his videos and it is nice how he gets chatting to absolutely everyone as now everyone's so insulated in their own world. I just watched the cruise video he did and he ended up meeting some random guys and joining them for dinner. I do wish I was a bit more like that as life is meant to be for living and meeting people and having cool experiences but I am not lol.

Maybe they have these Youtubers on standby at short notice in case a cancellation comes up (who doesn't get a refund), and its there way of getting it out there.
If I was travelling in that, I'd want a longer flight and one that doesn't include having to sleep!
I'd want to sleep and use the bed. WillNE was the other I saw he went from the UK to Singapore so a longer flight (and apparently paid less than Simon). He has a stopover as well which is think is perfect as you could sleep one part but enjoy the other. I thought Simon's video made it look better though.
I did enjoy Etihad from Simon, although I've seen it with other people who imo did a much better job. Didn't he say he paid for the residences, which is a bit surprising given his free fast food antics. He's probably done quite well for some time now. Wonder if he's burnt out or if he still enjoys doing content. Some of his train vlogs were dull, which I didn't make it to the end. Anyone have a favourite from Simon that you'd recommend.
I have watched his Saudi offering and the Margaritaville cruise. I am afraid I have to mute him as he is the most annoying , in your face twit on speed. He really would be my worst nightmare in a peaceful pricey resort he is loud, obnoxious and lairy and reminds me of Harry Enfield's Scousers and I usually like Sousers

I think he is a nice guy and the staff everywhere always says so but I think as a member of the public he'd be annoying trying to speak to you

Agree^ I haven't seen any recent content that really stands out. The Japan capsule hotel vlogs felt like an odd choice. There's an entire country filled with fascinating places, & yet somehow Simon comes up with a genius idea to show what a capsule looks like inside, not just one, but several.
He could have explored different neighbourhoods in Tokyo, highlighted lesser known prefectures, or focused on content around Japan's regional culture & history. He also ends up being in long conversations with random people that feel more like filler than substance.

Just seems to do either train videos or hotel videos are the moment. Disney hotels, best hotel in the world, capsule hotels, cheapest/1star hotels, trains in Australia, Japan, Saudi arabia. He did just post a video yesterday about the world cup maybe I'll watch that
