The reviews on Shein are some of the best actually. I love when people take photos of themselves in the outfits and include with the review - properly gives you an idea of how it looks.

Hate to break it to you but the vast majority of the f clothes for sale on the hightstreet - from high end stores to budget retailers- is mass produced in factories in places like China/Vietnam/Maylasia etc
(Also people can buy whatever they want from wherever they want so maybe go and preach somewhere else)

After the past 2 years we’ve had I think people would do well to keep their negativity to themselves.
I have been umming and ahhing about ordering from SHEIN for a while. Seen so many things on there I like the look of and then when it comes to to checkout I cave because I’ve read so many mixed reviews about it.
Has anyone ordered from there that can give honest opinions before I waste my money please?!

Who buys this cheap shite? The quality is naff, made by cheap labour on a few pence a day in China and sent here at a huge cost to the environment. Shocked that Brits still want to buy cheap tat from China.

I bought a pair of jeans and they STANK OF POO. It wasn’t immediate, it started after washing them the first time. Apparently it’s something to do with cheap dye. I soaked them in vinegar, in Vanish, in boiling water... they still stank. The smell even transferred to my hands whilst handling them.
Another pair of jeans ripped the first time I wore them.
Tops and dresses have all been fine (albeit very see through) but AVOID THE POO JEANS.

Quoting myself, but I wouldn't buy again. The PJ bottoms lasted no time at all, ended up with a hole in the crotch. The refund took weeks to the point I assumed I wasn't seeing it.I've just packed up my first orders returns. I ordered 4 tops, 2 dresses and some pjs.
Kept 1 top (the others were too big), 1 dress (the other didn't suit me) and these PJs which I LOVE.

I’ve had a few things off here and as others have said, it’s really hit and miss! The quality of some stuff is awful and like an “itchy” sort of material. I always really carefully check the reviews as I find they do tend to be quite accurate! One of my fav midi dresses for summer is off Shein, I love it so much I bought it in 4 colours, and it’s been washed loads and is fine. I’ve also got an insulated lunch bag which is really good quality! And the case I have on my iPhone atm is from Shein, I’ve dropped it loads and it’s not smashed so that’s good 
On the other hand I’ve had other stuff which has been awful, not washed up well, been see through etc. I guess you get what you pay for!

Did my first shein order recently (I've let the kids order fidgets previously) and just came to say wow the birthday skin primer in pink is amazing. I've spent ££ on primers in my time and this is my favourite, really nice packaging too.

I’ve just realised for orders over £160 they charge a crazy handling fee of £30-£60 … so if you’ve spent that much you need to do two orders! You can untick half the items, check out then it leaves the rest in the basket so you just split it!

A while back, I bought an 'Autograph' label dress for $59 on special and the first time I washed it, one of the seams came undone. A bit annoying, but I'm handy with a sewing machine so I repaired it. Then the hem came down and little loose threads would appear from nowhere.
A few months later I met a lady at a function wearing the exact same style, but in a far nicer pattern. I asked her where she got it from and she said Shein ... I told her about the issues I'd had with my one and she said she had the same issue with the side seam stitching but didn't really mind as she loves the dress and it only cost her $10.
I think a lot of the High Street stores probably get their stuff in from the same factory as Shein and add their huge mark-up.

For reference I’m 5’10 and wear between a 12-14, usually a 12,
I ordered about 15 bikinis all in a size large, most fit perfectly and the quality is the exact same as Missguided/plt and they’ve washed really well, I’m pleased

Best thing I’ve bought from shein is raised cat bowls for my cats! Highly recommend. I’ve bought loads of clothes too u just have too looo at the reviews under each item to get the correct size !
I bought shoes once were miles too small look at the reviews under the boots to check
