My July was rather boring with only a few things getting used up. I've very very nearly used up a compact powder (and already repurchased it) that will hopefully be gone during August. I had it when there's only a little bit left around the edges of the pan and you can barely get it out....


used up:
  • Geek and Gorgeous Liquid Hydration spray: bought this full size after having had the smaller version previously, it’s quite nice. Got some other facial spray to use up but I might rebuy the full size again.
  • Garnier oat shampoo: loved this for a long time but will not repurchase for now as it is rather heavy for my fine hair .
  • Balea med sensitive anti-dandruff shampoo. Was a free gift, I liked this and it really calmed down my scalp. I’ve already repurchased this.
  • Nø Cosmetics Daily shield facial spray. This is a hypochlorous acid spray, first I ever tried. Great to spritz under the arms during hot weather, it does help against sweaty smells even when only using natural deodorant. Would repurchase, but have bought now a cheaper drugstore brand (the isana one listed below)
  • essence anti shine oil control papers. Have already repurchased, these are really cheap and do the job well.

And just like that another month has finished and it's time to share my trash!

I'm getting really annoyed that the makeup products I've hit pan on aren't disappearing quicker and the other products I've been using consistently haven't hit pan yet. It's a conspiracy!

Empties for the month are:

Baby Dove Fragrance Free Head to Toe Wash [Purchased and opened at some point in 2025] - I really like this, I use it as an intimate wash. TMI but ever since having my youngest, and possibly because of perimenopause, I've had an issue with a sweaty groin! This keeps everything fresh without angering the 🐱 Already repurchased

Soap and Glory The Righteous Butter Body Butter [Christmas 2025, opened Christmas 2025] - I feel like the scent of this has changed from what I remember. It's okay, just not what I wanted. I won't be repurchasing.

Dove Raspberry & Rose Whole Body Deodorant Spray [Purchased May 2026, opened May 2026] - This did f-all, I won't be repurchasing.

Dove Raspberry Rendezvous Body Scrub [Purchased Feb 2026, opened April 2026] - I enjoy the Dove scrubs, they're creamy but finely gritty so it doesn't feel like I'm trying to resurface my skin. This scent was nice but it was neither raspberry or rose, more a buttery pastry tart with a raspberry-ish filling. Not really my kind of smell so I won't repurchase.

Dove Original Beauty Cream Bar [Christmas 2025, April 2026] - Can't go wrong with a Dove bar soap. I swear the scent of this has changed though. It wasn't as creamy as I remember.

Dove Raspberry Rendezvous Body Wash [Feb 2026, April 2026] - I enjoy Dove Body washes, they have a nice thickness to them and I don't find them drying. As with the scrub, the smell was kind of weird so I won't repurchase this particular scent.
