Our little girl is 2 tomorrow!

We've only had her for 7 months but I feel like some kind of proud parent knowing it's her birthday tomorrow. She's going to wake up to a lovely tunnel she can run through, and some rattling mice to destroy I even got her a little party hat! Is this what it means to be full blown crazy cat lady?

Can we get a picture of her in her little hat?? She will love the tunnel, it's probably the only toy mine have consistently used

I'm really hoping I can get her to wear it long enough for a nice picture. I have this idea in my mind of her, sat in front of her little Gourmet Mousse block thing we've bought her as a treat but I have a feeling it'll be a quick one and done photo

I know she's going to love the tunnel, she loves hiding behind doors and things and charging at us! And it's got that crinkly texture too which she seems to love on all of her toys. So excited for her to see it, feels like christmas come early

My boyfriend told me the other day when he first met cleo and saw all her toys he thought I was a bit mad but he gets it now. He even spots things and says oh she would like that! Its cleos birthday in December so she will be getting a cake and party hat.

I was upstairs this morning and Jimmy decided to follow me because, well, cats and their curiosity.

I picked him up and gave him a cuddle.

HOW VERY DARE YOU! PUT ME DOWN THIS INSTANT!

So I placed him on the bed.

I DIDN'T ASK TO BE ON THE BED! Although, it is nice and comfy and I can feel a snooze coming on. I'm letting you off this time.

What presents are you getting them? I don't really do presents, just some nice food (ie hundreds of bags of dresmies ) I got one of mine an advent calendar one year, she didn't warm to it and just looked confused when I tried to help her open squares

One will get some extra special treats and thr other will get a new toy. Haven't decided what yet, maybe like a toy frame thing (like for babies ). I think he would enjoy it. We are obviously going to ignore the massive trunk of cat toys i already have.

I just feel bad cause we won't be home for xmas so they will just have the cat sitter visit.

I don't bother with the advent calendars as they are so particular with their treats and honestly, they'd just stab me if i tried to give them only one treat

My older lady has had a bit of a new lease of life lately. She has IBD and we’ve put her on one of those brutally expensive mail order cat food diets but she seems to really like it, her coat is so incredibly thick and soft (I never thought there was an issue with her coat but it has become even better regardless!), this and her steroid tablets keep the vomiting sessions to a minimum and her litter tray no longer smells like toxic waste. What a winner! We have a 6 week old baby and we had no idea how this was going to go, but she continues to tolerate him really well, spending plenty of time in the same room with him. She isn’t interested in interacting with him but that’s for the best. I’m impressed by how well she tolerates his crying. And she has picked up playing with toys again after a long spell of not seeming like she cared for them anymore. It’s a huge relief that our ‘first child’ is thriving!

Oh that's such a good idea! We give her a supplement with a lick e lix every morning so I'll defo do this for birthdays to come

She's really not a cat that ever begs but she was proper asking for her wet food last night (she had absolutely chowed through her dry food during the day too as she always gets both in separate bowls) and I felt bad. I've mashed up her little mousse pot today since they come in a pack of four and they need eating, so I hope this will be a bit more satisfying for her today instead of keeping it in the block like the packet recommended.

Love this idea, not sure when little boys birthday is but might just invent one and do it next time will endeavour to get a photo of him.in his little bat wings for Halloween tomorrow!
