Did you guys manage to get a new cat after a long term 15-20 year one died?

Yeah. I lost one cat (the lovely Branston) who did a Captain Oates aged 19. I got the late beloved Beau (who died aged 18) a year later. Subsequently, I have acquired a cute little chap - slightly quicker than I anticipated, but our other cat was so lonely and missed having a pal. So we got two kittens a couple of months later, and all is well. You'll find the right cat at the right time.

It's been nearly 15 months since I lost my beloved Pooh Bear.

I'd like another cat eventually, Thor and Susan are both 11 and quite set in their ways and it's obvious they both still miss Pooh. I don't think they'd take kindly to another cat!
We have a small house, there really isn't room for another just yet.

My louie was only 9 when he died, that was a year and a half ago now. I got cleo 4 months later, I struggled without a cat being around and she's actually been amazing company and healed my heart.

My wee boy is 6 today 🩷 I hate the thought of him getting older and one day not being here 💔

How vocal are everyone's cats? Cleo is an absolute screamer. I reckon she was a town crier in her last life. Hungry? Cries. Litter tray needs done? Cries. It's never ending 🤣

Well one of mine can't really meow so he just waves his paws and goes brrr. The other one meows a lot! It all balances itself out i guess 🤣

I'm fostering a Bengal at the moment and she's quite chatty, it's funny, it's like she's talking to you. So different to my other cat who just silent miaows at me

Cleo is very chatty! Once I took her to the vets and when we got back every time she saw me she miaowed at me... like she was telling me off! Never had such a vocal cat before.

I always think one of my cats is part Bengal as she's very vocal. She's a tabby but more spotted than striped as well. My dog trainer saw her and asked if she Bengal/mixed bengal

My tortiecat Reet is a right old yeller too! I can hear her coming down the garden from about 100 feet away!

And then if her food isn't prepared (or to her liking) I get treated to a further wall of noise!

My cats are fairly quiet (Maine Coons have a tiny meow) but my old Tuxie was known as Chatty Cathy because she'd hold a full on conversation with my husband when he got home from work. It was like she was telling him all about her day.
Brrrrt breeep ackkkk.
