Yes I’ve always been interested. Have you watched the recent ITV drama Des? I’ve just read him up on Wikipedia and it is a good read.

Yes, I do find it fascinating. I find unsolved serial killings/murders really interesting, the speculation and mystery of it. I have lost my appetite for it a bit since having children, I use to be quite detached from what I was watching/reading, now it can really unsettle me and play on my mind. I still do enjoy is for the most part, but I have to avoid some cases with children involved.

I’m listening to a podcast at the moment ‘Nighttime’ they have a few really interesting cases they follow. Not serial killers as such, but they cover the Novia Scotia recent spree killing and the Valentine Day Massacre plot in which he interviews the perpetrator of the failed plot. Based in Canada so mostly cover Canada cases.

I have a long standing interest in the case of Fred and Rose West. I’ve read so many books, articles and watched documentaries. I think some day in the not too distant future, more bodies will be found in fields around Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and beyond, in relation to this.

I still think Myra and Ian Brady have more victims

Yes. Have always been interested. When I was younger my mum and I used to love watching the Forensic Files so I guess that kick started the interest.
I also am really intrigued by active shooter/school shooter cases.

If I were to be asked who my absolute nightmarish most feared serial killer is it would be Richard Ramirez aka the LA night stalker. Hands down, no contest.

I remember seeing the news footage of Fred and Rose West and just being shocked. I also recall the bloody steps from Versace's murder and of course the OJ trial.
My favourite(if thats the right word for it) cases are Wonderland, Zodiac, Manson/Labianca and the Black Dahlia. The Find A Death page is fantastic, Scott really knows his stuff. I have taken his tour before when I was in LA and its really informative. There is also a great group linked to him on FB. If you are ever in LA take the Dearly Departed tour, I cant rate it enough. Also the Museum Of Death was a great, I went to the New Orleans one last year but the LA one is the better one.

I feel like Aileen was quite a tragic case, im not defending her but she definitely had an awful upbringing and mental health issues.

I'm obsessed with serial killers. I remember when I was a child I asked my mum if I could write a letter to Peter Sutcliffe!

My friend's dad was questioned during the investigation as he was a lorry driver who matched his description.

They are definitely interesting to me. I love the show Mindhunter - its about the study of serial killers and identifying the psychology of their minds and the murders themselves.

This has been the case for me. I have also lost my appetite for being engrossed in true crime/murders since having children. Same could be said for horror films and anything involving gore.

For me, the Wests have fascinated me since a very young teenager. I think I have read every single book and watched every single documentary, one book I read went into the full, detailed childhoods of both, which really captured my interest. However unless new bodies are uncovered (I'm very convinced there are more) ... I have pretty much covered them in their entirety.

The Zodiac killer and such interest me, however I prefer research into those that have taken place in the UK such as the above, Dennis Neilson, Myra Hindley, etc.

Talking of spree killing, the docu-series Active Shooter America under fire was really good. I think it’s available to download on sky.

I listen to a lot of podcasts about all sorts of crimes and mysteries. I walk my dog in remote areas and if I’m listening to a podcast it can make me very jumpy. I very rarely see other people and when I do I get a bit paranoid especially when they are not walking a dog also.

JCS - Criminal psychology on YouTube have some really good videos. Not serial killer focused but cover some really interesting cases and the interviews with police, touch on the techniques used and what is happening and why. They put the videos together really well.
