I’ve got a parcel to send via Royal Mail but it’s 5cm over the max length. Any have any experience on if they are super strict on this or am I likely to get it through?! It’s really light
If it's got the Marketplace Seller tag on the label (assuming you're talking about something from Vinted) they really don't seem to care in my experience

Thanks both!
It is a vinted item so fingers crossed they’ll accept it. I’m in the post office collecting amazon parcels etc so much they know me by name so hopefully that’ll help too 😂

I will never understand Vinted even after all these years lol. The things you think will definitely sell don't and the most mundane boring stuff you list, sells straight away 😂 I just found a shirt I forgot about like a work shirt from H&M ,it sold in about 10 minutes

Vinted are playing silly buggers again and making the rules up as they go along. Purchased something on 26th May. Seller had untill 2nd June to post. Seller asked me for an extension which I refused. I’ve reached out to vinted and now Vinted are saying they have 6 business days blah blah blah. I think I’m just not going to bother collecting it if and when she decides to post. I tried to manually cancel but waiting for seller to agree.

This probably isn't eminently unreasonable and I'm just Having A Week but the squeezing an extra quid when I've already countered an offer with an amount, with an explanation, just ... why 🤣🤣🤣 I just have a visceral ick to being dragged into a back and forth over pound coins or 50ps, no, pay £13 or duck off

Yes I said this a while ago, they've changed it. Why bother giving a deadline if they can just extend it without you agreeing to it ! Yes definitely don't collect. To add I requested a cancellation and she declined it lol and sent it.

The point is,they always have to push it,you've made her a fair offer, but no,they still have to try for more. That's what really annoys me,take it or leave it,is my attitude now.

I am not going to collect it. I dont know why people go on holiday and don’t put holiday mode on. Vinted giving all this crap about 6 business days. Yes it’s been six working days if that’s what you mean, more if you count the weekend. And that’s beside the point. In post lockers are operational 7 days a week 24 hours!!!

Another little gripe, why do people message saying they love the item etc,but refuse to leave feedback? I don't get that.

This is the thing though, she had long enough before the deadline, why bother with one,if they don't have to adhere to it ? Why wouldn't you post it before your holiday ? People are just so lax on the app as there's literally no comeback for anything

This has probably already been discussed on here but why do people buy. then not collect or respond to messages giving them a nudge to collect? 3rd time now and I know I don't lose anything but my packing and time but really don't understand it

We ask ourselves this all the time. I believe a lot of the time it's impulse buying,or they buy another cheaper elsewhere. It's not about losing anything you're right, but in theory you have, you've lost money you thought you'd made. There should be repercussions for it,as I said in the last thread,a minimal set fee, they'd stop. I honestly don't know why Vinted don't as they have to pay for the delivery back, makes no sense

Help needed. A buyer has just suspeneded a transaction as it doesn't fit her. The measurements were on the listing (it is vintage so no size label). The only options it is giving me is to refund her/part refund her or ask for a return. I thought I didnt have to refund if it didn't fit but not sure how I do that . thanks
