I sold something last night packed it and put it on the table,it's vanished into thin air. I have searched everywhere and it's totally disappeared 😞 it was something that I have had up for ages too

I cannot tell you how much it absolutely enrages me,when someone sends a offer, you begrudgingly accept, but they don't buy just favourite it 🙄

I've still been following whilst on holiday, I'm back now and the last thread isn't encouraging me to switch off holiday mode :ROFLMAO:
I sold a lot before I went away. Added a few things which were getting a lot of favourites and switched on holiday mode. Switched it off when I came back and tumbleweed. I had one 30% off offer on a BNWT dress that I’m selling for less than a third of the original price, 1 favourite on an item.

I’ve got a few more Summer bits I want to list, then I’ll take a break for a while. I’d rather batch list and break rather than drip feed. I think their algorithm promotes people who are listing and selling straight away - it rewards success.

I’ve had my £1 non-collected item returned back to me. It’s saying I need to click to confirm receipt. What happens if I just don’t click to say I’ve got it back?

I think it just automatically does it like it does when the buyer doesn't press everything is ok. Not hundred percent sure though

Baby was awake squawking on the hour every hour all through last night, don't test me people of Vinted, I can no longer be held responsible for my choice of reaction 🤣

Also, I feel like lowballing on a breakable is really bleeping stupid if you actually want the item. I mean, I suppose it's no skin off their nose if it turns up shattered because I skimp on bubblewrap cos they're no good 40% offering skinflints, and they'll get a refund anyway, but presumably you do actually want to own the nice thing so you want it to arrive in one piece?

How odd you've posted this lol. I sent a Ceramic oil diffuser (the lid was ceramic) wrapped adequately in bubble wrap, stuffed with newspaper and boxed. The box previously held 6 full bottles of bleach, this diffuser was as light as a feather. Anyway it's turned up with a dent in the box and in a clear royal mail bag. The buyer refused the delivery and has messaged me about 10 times to tell me how bad the box was. It wasn't. It had fragile tape all over it,every single side and corner was sealed. It's not my problem Royal Mail got it to her in that state. Anyway I replied to say the box was not thin and adequately packed. She's now on a rant saying I have been disrespectful for using the word LOL. Get a grip woman lol,it's £6.85 I do not care lol, you'll get your money back 🙄😭. I said I'd never send a breakable again but I did so 🙄

Low ball of the day - someone has bundled some of my items up to £124 and then offered me £75. Not technically 40% off as they went a whole 50p higherso obviously I will be rushing to accept. All of their items for sale are over £250 and some over £1000. Might offer a cheeky 40% off on the £1000 item

I have got a coat up,not the right time of year really, but thought I'd try it. Retail for new is about £400,there's a identical one up for £160. So I put mine up for less than half of that at £75. I had one offer in minutes of 40 percent off lol a reseller obviously. I'd rather just keep it till winter

Took a punt on a pair of spenny mugs someone was selling well below their value thinking I'll probably get a bag of broken ceramic and lo and behold, no bubble wrap, no fragile tape, mugs loose in two card (not corrugated cardboard) mini boxes rattling round in a mailer bag ... although one hasn't broken (the other is ducked though). Why would you do that? If you're going to sell mugs at least try, now you're two spenny mugs and what I paid down????

Uploaded a whole bunch of my pre pregnancy clothes finally had a sort out, I forgot how annoying people on vinted are. Straight away someone asked if a £1 item was from a certain shop... Which I put where it was from in the description, someone else bought it a few mins later before I'd had a chance to reply love when that happens.

Would be today I get my first SNAD. Quite funny though, they've said it's in perfect condition and exactly as described but have wrong sized me. It's labelled as a 14 and I listed it as a 14 but it comes up small and I didn't mention it. Fair enough I didn't mention it, because I didn't measure it, but I tend not to bother unless it's a letter size because life's too short. Lesson learned. They've written an 150 word issue description including uploading a screenshot of the Boden size guide to say that it doesn't meet the Boden size guide. Take it up with Johnny Boden then lol?

Feel like I'm being a fool but I've said they can pay for return shipping. Dreading them popping up to kick off about it now but I'll see you in Vinted court if you do lol. Why you wouldn't just resell I don't know

We are twinning today. I have literally just had the exact same thing. The buyer did pay though and left good feedback but wrote on it that it was smaller than size mentioned. I deleted the listing days ago as the sale has completed and had got auto feedback,so she's obviously edited it lol,and cannot remember if I had mentioned it. I usually do mention it as it's Vintage and they're always smaller than today's sizing. In a way you cannot win,if you put it in the size it actually measures, you'll get people not reading it and saying "wrong size sent" and unless someone asks I just haven't got the energy to measure every single item I list

Trying to get a refund is fun. I bought a DAB radio a couple of weeks ago - sent in a trainer shop carrier bag and nothing else for packing (not even a box inside). Arrived smashed and still cannot get my refund from Vinted. They keep telling me to wait another 7 days for response. Not sure what to do as thought that is what buyer protection is for but I am getting nowhere other than to be told I need to upload photos (which I did 2 weeks ago). Their customer service is the pits.

Honesty Vinted absolutely baffles me,nothing on it makes any sense. I had a pair of shorts up for 2 weeks, halved the price as it has a lot of favourites,no sale. Last night I doubled the price and bumped it,they sold within 10 minutes, they were basic khaki shorts. Yet I have beautiful items that the same tactic hasn't worked on. Also I sold 2 pairs of jeans this week something I really struggle to sell,it's just so odd

I hope they mean £4 (it was two mugs for £8) otherwise I might just implode 🤣🤣🤣

"how about I partially refund you 4p" I nearly fell out of bed as the message notification popped up while having my first coffee before it clicked what they (well I bloody hope so) meant 🤣
