Selling on Depop and Vinted #24 The 40% Off Club

Finally sorted out all the crates from garage number #1 - at least five full of clothes for Spring/Summer to sell. Lots of BNWT stuff and everything else has been washed and ready to go. Four bags sorted for charity/recycling.

I'm an E-Bay girl but not been on there selling for over a year now. I have recently bought quite a bit of stuff on Vinted, and most of it has been decent actually, but I've never used it for selling and it scares me - I really don't like to be mithered by people and I have a short fuse 😂

So I'm thinking of trying to make a start by doing say ten items on both. I'm concerned that people are saying it's dead - I have fuckloads more to sell and that's before we get onto garage #2 😳

Also doing a car boot next weekend - strictly household stuff though. Probably do two or three and give whatever doesn't sell to charity.
You could try taking some clothing to the car boot too. No hassle posting, no 40% off offers and no returns. You might get a couple of quid less overall but got to be worth a try maybe

Funny enough, I was discussing this with my OH last night. I think it's worth a punt 👍🏼 I'm think I will try and pick up a cheap clothes rail from Marketplace or something to display my merch!

we moved house a year ago and I shifted quite a lot of clothes when we did one. A but less than I would have got on vinted but a lot was stuff I wouldn't put on vinted anyway. A LOT less hassle - people were lowballing me but at least it was only for a couple of hours.

And you get rid of more all in one go,no messing around packing etc.only problem with it is having them in boxes like we did, people can't be bothered rummaging through

Anyone else seeing the same items constantly in their home feed, even though they're not bumped? There's a couple of tops that keep coming on mine every time I look,I feel like buying them just to stop seeing them 😂

Yes I think buyers should get some bad feedback if they do this. It is such a waste of time and energy and there is no comeback for them.
I’ve had four this week. And one of them asked me to hang on to the item for a week then re-upload so they can buy it again?!

Why can’t Vinted allow us the option to write ‘didn’t bother to collect’ feedback 😡😡
We should do one of those petitions where the gov't has to debate the issue in parliament once it hits a certain number of signatures.

'SHOULD VINTED PUNISH BUYERS WHO DON'T COLLECT?' I bet it would hit the needed amount in 24 hrs. 😂

I have the same with one skirt atm! Also people making offers and not following through. I got so aggy with it in the heat yesterday I deleted and relisted and the same has happened again 🤣
It's now got even more views and favourites,I have knocked £2.50 off and bumped it,still nobody had purchased 😂

I've still been following whilst on holiday, I'm back now and the last thread isn't encouraging me to switch off holiday mode :ROFLMAO:

I'm guessing this is probably a widespread issue as I got a response from a human within a couple of minutes lol
