I think she did years of drama & dancing as a young un. Not sure if she was any good but you need a set of pipes for Mama Morton so I don't think she would have been cast if they didn't think she would be at least passable.I think even she was gracious enough to acknowledge that the role was beyond her capabilities. Why would they even cast her in the first place
