I love buying on Facebook marketplace I find so many great bits on there especially toys! My 1yr old does not care if someone’s played with it before her 
toys are bloody expensive there’s often no point of buying them new, I find charity shops hard tho, the toys are always proper manky with bits missing and the clothes are always grubby fleeces someone’s daughter wore in 2001

I use Vinted, sell all my clothes on there rather than eBay now. It's great. I've bought some lovely things for a bargain too
I buy stuff second hand regularly, but go through phases where I do buy new often out of convenience. I've had loads of recent success in the charity shops,me and my 10 year old daughter got loads! (She wears petite size 6 so doesn't shop in the kids) however we were in ymca and I picked up 2 borge shakets, one was mens and one ladies. Both blue, as they were similar i put them.both down together to have a think about them while we looked around, only to watch another lady pick them up and buy both! We were like nnoooooooo!! They were £7 for both! Lesson learnt
I grew up with solid haircare from Lush (it was the only option available to me) and it was super expensive for what you get. Ethique reminds me of them in terms of price point. I would really recommend having a look on Etsy, the makers there are much better value. Ditto at finding solid conditioner a bit of a let down, I prefer to use oils instead.
I grew up having to get my clothes at charity shops and hated them but now I’m an adult I love them. If I want something I’ll always look if I can find it second hand first. Love the nick nacks tbh I rarely get clothes as some of the shops are expensive and I can buy new cheaper than what they charge. I get it re sustainability but I have to get what I can afford. My teen kids go in charity shops too

What gets me is that people will buy 2 or 3 dresses trying to find the “one”…. So some have been tried on but not even worn at the wedding!
