I feel like with Romesh's show it should be called Romesh and Sally, it's basically just those two chatting to each other and other people. it seems to be getting worse recently

I’m so glad I’m not the only one that thinks this! It really annoys me how much airtime Sally traffic gets on a Saturday from all the presenters, and I really don’t find her funny or entertaining at all, it’s all rubbish, banal chat
Sally Traffic is who I would put into Room 101.
I think it depends on the format of the show. Steve (RIP) had his 'posse' and Sally was part of that, but it's not a format which works with everyone. I thought Scott and Ellie worked well together.
The text read: "I hold you in the highest regard and I wish you all the best." Before he realised it was serious, Jeremy believed that it was an "AI spoof" or that his laptop had fallen victim to a "virus."
Can anyone explain what this means, did Scott send this to Jeremy or Jeremy to Scottbesides that, what did they think was an ai spoof *virus* the message or the accusation
He’s referring I think to those spammy, click bait celebrity news adverts you see on social media sites. Like “Bradley Walsh QUITS The Chase” which actually means Bradley jokingly walks off stage in mock exasperation at something the Chaser said on yesterday’s show.
I actually thought the same when I went onto the Mail Online and saw a headline about Scott being fired. It was so unexpected it took me a good few seconds to process that it wasn’t clickbait. I thought he must have given an interview talking about being fired from an old radio job 30 years ago.
I did prefer Ellie for sure over Richie but since she did the rapping in Scarborough I think she believes she is famous. She recently did some dance on social media off the back of having Strictly guests on the show and jokingly made reference as to that being her audition. The trouble is I don’t think she really was joking so I really hope she doesn’t go on Strictly!
Richie is on celeb apprentice so he's going to be even more irritating than usual. DJ Spoony is on it too
I've been listening to Trevor Nelson this afternoon and he's quite sweet, but again the bloody traffic woman gets a whole segment to herself and she's so dull. Stick to telling us where the traffic jams are, there's a dear.

Do we even need traffic news on the radio any more? Surely everyone uses Google maps etc, it's just a time filler to give the dj time for a wee. And yes, sally traffic is so boring yet thinks she's so entertaining.
They can nip out for a wee while something long winded is playing, no need for Sally Traffic at all.

I really like Jezza but i can't bear his programme because of the utter mouthbreathers who ring in. (Having said that I've been on it three times)
Completely agree. Also if you look back at him with Chris Stark for example it was just easy banter. The Ellie stuff seems forced.
I’ve followed her on Instagram since she started on his show and I’m not sure if it’s the algorithm but it seems like she’s been posting way more than usual the last few weeks.
I listen to radio 2 all day. I was never a Scott Mills fan, couldn’t stand the stupid, pointless birthday game. I don’t mind Gary Davis filling in, he’s old school proper DJ but has swallowed the BBC happy pill of late. What I’m absolutely fed up of is the non stop Golf talk between Gary, Vernon and Trevor (I’m a huge Trev fan). It’s private boring chat of no relevance to anything but their own WhatsApp group! I can’t believe a producer hasn’t told them to cut it out yet!!
I thought it was just me, because I have absolutely no interest in golf.
