You can see a huge difference between his photo at work and the close ups of his face now.

We are heading towards 50 pages so a new thread isn't far off. The Not Mills Breakfast Show surely will be the new thread title :D
And/Or "love you bye"?

I think there’s a difference between “support” and just not demonising him until we know it’s worth doing. People are allowed to have liked him until this allegation came out.

I don't mind Gary Davies, I know the breakfast show doesn't have similar features but I feel he's done a good job having been kinda flung in there and he's still doing it justice. He won't want to do it forever, though, so I do wonder when we'll hear about a permanent slot...

BBC poised to offer 'heir apparent' Sara Cox the Radio 2 Breakfast Show job after Scott Mills was sacked

What happened to Sara not wanting it? If that was true they wouldn't waste their time to offer it her. Still don't think she will accept.

She can have a lie in, get up to film some TV work and make it to her drivetime slot in time. If you're getting up at around 4 am five days a week you wouldn't be arsed about TV jobs anymore or you'd be knackered.
Plus from what I've seen on her Instagram, her mornings are spent horse riding and chilling, I wouldn't give that up if I didn't have too!

I'll do it for a week. I've got tit chat and am a cynical sarcastic b but love dogs and have a very wide music taste?
Can you end listener calls with love you bye and bring back the much missed birthday game?

If so you have my vote at the ballot box.

Obviously we don’t know what’s gone on, and I’m sure he knew it would happen but his face all over everywhere being analysed just being out for a dog walk does seem a lot.

It’s reminding me of the Philip Schofield pictures when he was visiting his mum.. I think a certain level of privacy is only fair.

He’s not been charged with anything and no information seems to be coming to light so if that remains the case I hope the paps lay off him for a while now they’ve got the shot.

Ooh yeah, let's all take turns, like the new pointless shows without Richard. I could do it for a week for a couple of grand!

We can all do a week - a bit like a random throw of the dice to see what entertainment you'll get each morning for a week before they move on. Keeps it edgy, we all get some cash money - everyone's a winner!

(but please don't be a sex pest)

There's something really offputting about Scott Mills and his friends doing a victimhood tour.

Maybe just keep your head down for a while until appropriate. He's gone all Ant McPartlin with the papped dog walks and his friends keep on about how worried they are.

Maybe don't try to overshadow the alleged victim right when it's all fresh news again?

Genuine question where are his friends going on about how worried they are? I haven’t seen anyone put their neck on the line and actually talk about him publicly?

I don’t think anyone is going to do a Jon Sopel. After all, no one really knows everything anyone. Especially if it’s something that happened in the past

She was definitely interested when Chris Evans left R2 and I think she was hopeful of the job. I doubt 8 years later she will want to do that job even though she knows it is a job that would pay the mortgage off!

What are you talking about? The man has barely been seen and it's not unreasonable for him to go for a walk with his husband and dog. Nobody is saying that victims should be ignored.

Eh? The guy has to go outside and he's got to walk his dog. He has been seen out once.
