So bizarre, I was thinking this morning that I need to post on here! Well, I used it a couple of time and it seemed to clear it up a little bit but then I went and bought the bodyshop’s ginger shampoo on Sunday and I’ve used it 3 times and that has really improved it. T-gel worked for me for like 15 years, it stinks but it really does the job.It's been about 4 years that my scalp has become really sensitive. Very itchy, dry and flaky patch and also lots of white (poppable, sorry TMI) spots on and around my scalp (back of the neck etc). I have tried several shampoo even the ones prescribed by my GP (It's called Dandrazol but it seems to only focus on dandruffs). The only one that worked on the long term seems to be the Neutrogena T-Gel. The smell is really not pleasant but it soothes my scalp and the spots are completely gone when I use it!
Got home last night and checked my hairline above my ear and it was red and flaky againShouldn’t do, just ask them to rinse it well. Really pleased it’s getting better I know how miserable it is x

Yes it didnt work for me either, have also used the superbalm and it didnt help. I also hate the tar shampoos. Im a lost cause lol.My daughter has scalp psoriasis and we started using the ginger shampoo made it ten times worse, now we have transferred to coal tar shampoo but I also massage this Lush Superbalm scalp treatment into her scalp first, she leaves it for an hour and then double washes her with the coal tar shampoo and it’s really cleared up the yellow crusty clumps, inflamed red sores and the itchiness!
I am allergic to e45 cream, didn’t know they did shampoo, will check the ingredients.I have found E45 shampoo, didn’t know it even existed. Has changed how my head feels in 2 washes. About £5 from boots and Superdrug
Thank youSuperdrug has their own range called Trichology and it has a shampoo, conditioner and tonic and it’s really helped my daughter’s scalp. She doesn’t have psoriasis but has suffered with a very itchy, dry and very flaky scalp since she was 10 and I think puberty made it worse. The conditioner can be used on the scalp unlike other conditioners and is really soothing. The tonic is amazing too because you use it when hair is damp and just gently massage it into the scalp. My daughter says it feels so nice and soothing when her head has been a bit itchy or sore in the past, though I rarely have to use it now as the shampoo and conditioner are working so well. They’re usually 2 for £6. Really swear by the stuff!
