She can reject it if it meets certain criteria…. Cab rank.
That means if she has something in her diary that’s been there longer.
with criminal law it’s hard. She may HATE representing but she has to, personal revulsion aside.
Everyone good bad or ugly is entitled to a defence.
I love this question - I've thought the same myself
out of interest - do you think, in cases such as this if a defence barrister knows that the person they’re representing is guilty as sin, they might not put as much effort into the defence as they might be expected to do?
