Is anyone sick of her constant navel gazing posts about how far she’s come, how she got married and divorced, lost weight, loves herself etc etc etc 🙄🙄 so dull

The way she keeps saying she’s ‘micro dosing’ GLP1 - 5mg is not a microdose! It’s a fully therapeutic dose, micro would be less than 2.5, in the US people who are truly microdosing are using 0.5-1mg a week. She’s attached some sort of moral weighting to the fact that she doesn’t see herself as being on a weight loss medication, somehow doing it ‘her way’ is better than everyone else on it. And all this BS about the weight loss is a side effect of treating myself properly. No! Weight loss is the direct cause of you being on a weight loss medication! There’s no shame in it, just own it FFS

Agreed, all these influencers who were overweight and made their whole personality about body positivity and being happy in their own skin who are now back peddling once they get on a glp 1 are so painful. She’s also not the first once to reframe it as ‘focusing on gut health’ 😂 honestly it’s laughable, as the poster above says, just own it.

I started following her when she did those funny grwm videos, and I found her funny and relatable. She always looked fab imo as she had the confidence! Now she's drastically lost all the weight and her content has shifted to how great she looks because of it. Her stories today banging on about finding the right way to do it is a load of rubbish, just own that you're using weight loss medication and this wouldn't have been possible (so quickly at least) without it.

I don’t blame anyone for using weight loss medication at all, when they are overweight. I know someone trying to come off it and within days of skipping a dose, she is ravenous and putting pounds back on a week. Sasha needs to be realistic, most importantly with herself. Until I see someone come off GLP1 and maintain their weight for an extended period, I don’t think they can claim better habits is the reason. The conversation on the Spill podcast… I had to turn it off in the end. I feel Billie made a bit of an effort to push back at Sasha and challenge her claims, but I think she wanted to do so more than she did. There is an huge arrogance to Sasha now that there wasn’t before so I’ve generally stopped watching/listening to her content. All she had to do was say ‘I’m using GLP1 for the benefit of my health, I want and need to lose weight’ and I don’t think anyone would have cared.

I lost 4.5 stone just under 2 years ago, came back down the doses to nothing and it has stayed off. I genuinely just eat differently now, even without any medication. But I get I might be an anomaly. The only downside of coming off for me was some old joint and back pain came back as I had lots of inflammation reduction while on MJ

I listened to the Spill podcast too and had thoughts

I found it odd that she described people who liked her content previously 'because it made them feel better about themselves' and now she's "better" that audience is discarded...

I liked about her previously because her content felt different to the majority of influencers, felt honest and genuine.

For her to look back at that time and say 'well they didn't know I was going through several extremes' maybe that ownership is hers?
If she was binging and restricting, but monetising content about her body then there's where the line blurs?

also if she wasn't upfront with her audience at those times - how do we trust that she's in the best place mentally and physically now, with minor assistance from GLP1 and lots of gut health stuff...

It creates distrust.

She brushes that off as 'well it's my life' yes, it is, but you're paying your bills off the platform you're creating and your viewership.

She claimed on the pod that she feels the medication has well and truly healed her relationship with food and was the reason for starting. If that’s now fixed, why is she still taking it?

Also, has she healed her relationship with food? Or just has a suppressed appetite due to the Ozempic ..

Exactly this. I’d challenge her to come off the GLP1 and see how ‘healed’ she is. I’ve nothing against using them but I can stand the holier than thou attitude she seems to have now.

That’s wonderful, I’m very pleased to hear it has gone well for you. I think what I struggle to understand is - if taking GLP1 results in a change of mindset, why do people need to stay on it until they lose all the weight? That isn’t a question of your experience necessarily, just more broadly. I admit I’m fairly ignorant about how it works to be honest!

I guess you have to think of it as a medication that helps a medical issue. People with poor mental health might take antidepressants and start to feel better, nobody would advise you to come off them as soon as you start to feel less depressed. You would stay on them and eventually taper off in a managed way. I have no doubts that I will use GLP1 medication again even though I am happily maintaining without them at the moment, life is ever changing and I would absolutely take medication again if I needed to or felt like I was struggling to maintain. I think unless you have experienced being overweight for most of your life it is hard to understand, and that’s ok!

In the great scheme of things I'm fairly new to SP. I discovered her when she was with her ex DB and was doing try on hauls. I think it was things like underwear and general everyday clothes. I liked her, she seemed relatable. Had absolutely no idea what she was 'famous' for... I still don't tbh.

But wow her persona has changed in that short time! She seemed really down to earth and now she comes across completely different. I get she's lost weight and feels better in herself but she is absolutely in love with herself! Maybe I just don't get it as I have not had the same mental transformation since a significant weight loss 🤣
I've had to unfollow her. She's giving mean girl, pick me vibes.

Definitely not relatable anymore with the new (albeit rented) pad in London as well as Wales. Is she really that well off she can afford to have both for the sake of her “career” money seemed tight when she was with DB so I wonder was he dragging her down and a drain financially as she seems to be living life large since the split. Either that or she’s up to her eyeballs in debt!!

I unfollowed her a while ago but I thought she used to be very vocal about how London is the worst place on earth and she absolutely despises it? Am I making this up?
