Sarah’s Day #81 She’s so boring now that it took us a year to get through the last thread

Title credit goes to Steel Raspberries! Sorry if there was another one suggested earlier on. I started to scroll through the most liked but lost the will to live. This title sums things up perfectly.

I'm not going to recap the last year but I will bring forward the middle finger drama from the last thread that's currently ongoing.

On Wednesday 3rd June Sarah "broke" the middle finger on her left hand while playing Oz Tag. Apparently, she rammed her finger into a 90kg man, stabbing him with her fake nail in the process. It's bruised, swollen and she can't bend it. See the evidence here [pics 1, 2 and 3].

On Thurs she goes to a hand specialist. Sarah claims the upper finger is fractured/chipped and she has completely torn the ligament in the middle knuckle. It's been taped. [Pics 1 and 2 - notice how perfect her nail is considering she stabbed a guy hard enough to break her finger]

On Thurs 11th June she goes back to the hand specialist. In the car beforehand she says she can't wear her wedding rings because of the swelling. The specialist was shocked by the "bad bruise" [view close up here. TW: severe trauma] and has told Sarah she won't be able to compete in Hyrox in four weeks time. Despite this verdict, Sarah says she'll wait until the day before to decide if she'll compete or not.

She says her finger is really bruised and the ligament is bad*, but then corrects herself to say it's completely broken, fractured, snapped and torn.

*likely the actual diagnosis.

Prediction: She'll spend the next few weeks complaining about dropping out of Hyrox. Then make a miraculous recovery and compete in it after all.

She’s also just said in her stories that she hasn’t been training for hyrox for the past 2.5 weeks since she hurt her finger. But she injured it 11 days ago. Not even two full weeks.

So convenient that the only part of Hyrox that she now can’t do is the sled pull, which was the one thing she struggled with the most before her finger was injured

You're forgetting Sarah time does not equal real time

Here's a before and after the gym session of her splint. All three taping positions are completely different. I'll even wager it's been turned around.

She took it off. Her finger is fine. She'll do Hyrox.

Some of the worst spelling I’ve seen. Don’t blame autocorrect Sez, it can only do so much when you spell so terribly.

she sure wiggled that finger around a bunch while eating the wrap in her car and complaining about giving up her own vanity (getting nails done) to get “work” done.

Last week she posted a reel of her longest run ever - 18km. The longest she'd done before was 15km.

Today she posts a second reel about her longest run ever - 20km. This time she says she ran 10km for the first time six months ago.

Which I suppose is true, she probably did run 10km for the first time six months ago, but if you ran a distance PB just seven days ago, you'd mention it. Either she's lying or she's secretly running these distances often and losing track of her story.

Also peep the lack of splint today (in both the run and her stories). I swear she just trolls us.

Latest TT of M asking for another baby… could we be in for ham belly 4?

I seriously hope not but we probably will eventually. Though not all the time she's training this hard. I'm not a runner but I can't believe running three distance personal bests (18km, 20km & 23km) within ten days is good for you, especially when she's also doing normal daily runs and going to the gym.

Also, she posted a video of ✨️everything✨️ she ate post run and it's just one meal. Steady on Sarah. She's also now eating a pre-workout after getting "humbled" last week - i.e: she's been running this hard on very few calories and her body has finally called her out.
