If she'd been from a traveller background and had been filmed battering her horse, she wouldn't have got away with it.

Same as if she had been a working-class teenager hunting pigeons with an airgun at the time. (I do know someone who goes out on his horse and takes his airgun, because his cat loves whole pigeons as a treat.)

Disgusting woman. Agree she’s gotten away with it due to being middle class , a teacher , a ‘huntswoman’ .
They way you treat animals says a lot about your character. She’s vile.
