Does anyone know if the brother is her brother or his brother? It will be interesting to see what he says in all this. He is referred to as "uncle" in the papers, i presume that means saras uncle and one of their brothers?

I’m assuming the trial proceeded today but it was under reporting restrictions for some reason.
Maybe judges directions, or protecting a witness (eg a minor?)?

Do we know how long the trial is expected to last? Or whether the other two are expected to take the stand?

Also we’ve not had much update from court the past few days, so general discussions about SS etc have taken over

“She loved to be on the stage and singing and performing. That was her happy space."
💔

Detail here that her teacher saw bruises, school made a safeguarding referral. BB was defensive. She was heard swearing in Punjabi at the other children.

That pic of this poor little girl in full makeup creeps me out somehow 😬

No, I've read the same thing so I agree that poor girl never had a chance. Those 2 need to get back here and face up to what they've done. Find it strange how she done all the talking and referred to Sara's death as an "incident", wonder did she mean to say accident.
No she meant incident.

When we bear in mind that Sara and her brother were removed from their mother and placed in their father’s custody, I hate to think what the reasoning was. I wonder if the mother had experienced domestic violence with him.

I think unfortunately there was probably a sexual component because suction was used
Oh yes, that’s true, I was just thinking like a normal bite could leave marks and teeth dragged along the surface could cause the person to bite harder / shift the hold if the person being bitten tried to move away

They should do as they are all individually charged with the offences. Each will have their own defence - Urfan Sharif has blamed the wicked stepmother, and she has blamed him. I think the uncle is going for no involvement.

The verdicts will be per person, but like CM/MG trial the judge may give direction on if x is guilty of y then z also must happen / if x is found NG if y then z must also happen/not happen.

Hopefully the fact that no one injury or occasion can be determined as the cause of her death, it’ll be easier to return guilty verdicts 🤞🏻
So basically each defence barrister could potentially corss examine each of the other two? Wow could get lengthy and confusing.

Maybe one of the other children.
