I don’t even understand how you call the British police when you’re in Pakistan. Am I being exceptionally stupid?!

I don’t know if 999 would work (I assume not) but you could easily call most police forces from abroad using a normal number.

Forgive me for not knowing; but he requested she had a Muslim funeral on that phone call, did this happen and would this affect tests/evidence the police could get biological or otherwise? Just wondered if they were trying to affect any evidence gathered.

I am reporting my comment above to mods to ask them to remove it, as someone on the Facebook group was very upset about it, and I have seen other people saying they don’t want to comment on there in case it gets shared. If the people who were upset see this I am sorry for sharing from a private group and will not do this again, I honestly just thought the poster had made some very good points that hadn’t occurred to me and wanted to discuss what was said on here, I didn’t mean any disrespect or to make anyone on here or fb feel uncomfortable. We all want the same thing, to understand what has happened and to see the horrible perpetrators of this crime punished to the maximum allowed.

Yeah in any case how much business class would they have got? Comfy seats? Maybe a nicer dinner? I assume they don’t drink alcohol. Nice and refreshed for when they get arrested and taken straight for interviews.

I doubt they even got the nicer dinner, I imagine comfier seats and a slight bit of extra space was all they got to contemplate being arrested when they landed on.

I know as they’re co-defendants they’re allowed to communicate about the case but if those two are together for part of every day that could give the opportunity for getting stories straight.

Two significant things in as many sentences.

I think he’s actually saying manual strangulation actually- he’s using ligature strangulation purely as a comparator?

Maybe, but that’s not how I read it. Wording on BBC “The most likely cause is manual strangulation with a degree of force, which we would mostly recognise in hanging,” he told the court - so saying that particular injury is indicative of that act.

It struck me as genuine, the breath hitching and hyperventilation is quite hard to fake, try it yourself and you'll see.

I think he is upset, he wouldn't have called 999 in the first place if he wasn't affected by it. And I think that's another thing that's hard for us normies to accept, which is that evil people are just as complex as non-evil people. They can also feel sadness and remorse and all the rest of it, see Dennis Nilsen who wept bitterly over some of his victims, there are very few people who are straight up 100% evil all the time. It's just that there are some acts which are so evil that they cancel out everything else about a person, and torturing a little child to death is definitely one of those things.

I wasn’t saying he wasn’t affected by it. I just feel that that part of the call was different.

He had to report it, even with what he or his wife had done, they couldn’t just leave Sara’s body there indefinitely until they decided to come home again.

I think the uncle will know a lot. He was working but probably not out of the house as much as US. The problem is, if he blames BB it will seem as though he’s supporting his brother.

I wonder why he flew back with them and didn’t just stay in Pakistan. He hadn’t lived in the UK for very long.

He probably went with them as he was dependent on them.

Not sure if it's already been talked about but those messages from the step mum to her sister about the dad beating Sarah,was it really her doing all the beating? I've not read too much about this case for obvious reasons. Poor Sara

100% I think there is a huge jealousy element there, I don't want to say bad about kids but if you see their fb pages, both have pics with Sara next to her 2 sisters, the stepmums children, and Sara stands out as much prettier, its bad to say it but its true. She probably couldn't handle that, plus jealousy of her being from a previous relationship, she just gives me emma tustin vibes that she couldn't stand having a reminder of her partners last relationship around and so targeted sara.

I just listened to the 999 call and I don’t think he’s actually crying or upset. I think he’s putting it on. When he says ‘36 hours ago’ the ‘crying’ slips.
