I don't know why but in my head him and Adele seem the same. One good, now just annoying, with poor voices, dreary songs and one dimensional personalities. SS knows that video was gonna get him the attention he hasn't had for a while. He needs to walk through the car wash at the local garage cos he always looks grotty. I think that's what's wrong. Because Olly Alexander, Nas, and the others were getting attention, Sam didn't like it. They know they couldn't do what the others can so came up with this knowing that at least, it would get them some attention one way or another. It's all about attention to them...good or bad.

I found that shocking/upsetting to see and I'm not easily shook, if it's a way of expressing his frustration why not just throw at a wall or something, why so violent to throw at a person surely that will trigger a lot of people

I remember Frankie Goes to Hollywood Relax video. Sam's a poor relation compared to that.

And can you imagine Adam Lambert lowering himself like that??? But Adam is 100% talent.

Strangely, I've always liked SS music. Their version of Have Yourself a Merry Christmas is fabulous. But ive never liked them as a person. Far too self obsessed.

What I don't get is why society is so keen to accept Sam's type of behaviour. If he came out glamourising smoking I suspect there would be uproar. But we are fine with normalising obesity, apparent violence etc. Nobody should be mocked of humiliated for being over weight, but we are in an obesity epidemic and normalising it is dangerous.

Even Freddie Mercury’s campers most flamboyant videos didn’t look degradable. FGTH’s Repax video was provocative and matched the choon. FGTH played gigs in a lot of gay clubs when they started out so the Brodie was more natural somehow. Not to mention they wanted to show allegiance to the gay community during the AIDS times.

SS’s violent piss orgy video accompanies a rit song and is SS’s and his new entrouage’s agenda to provoke and lay out SS’s new identity.

It's disgusting and actually a criminal offence to bottle someone, I know they are not 'actually' doing it but they are certainly glamourising it. It's such a nasty action. Their rampant fans can duck off if they think it's acceptable behaviour to display.

I admire Owen Jones as I share the majority of his views, but for a professional and respected journalist and political commentator; he sometimes argues his points in a very undiplomatic, unprofessional fashion (e.g "you're deeply sad", some of his responses to individuals who dare to disagree with him on his Facebook page, etc.)
I'm not shocked by the music video, I just find it plain gross. I felt the same way about that Megan Thee Stallion's foray into "shock-tactics-for-attention/YouTube-clicks". I'm also a little annoyed with myself for getting drawn into his team's (winning) quest for column inches to be honest.
